Hey folks!
I am so, so stoked to share my hunting rifle with you all. I finally after years of shooting LR and hunting have a dedicated hunting rifle. I picked it up from my smith today after a full glass bed, and will break it in tomorrow.
This is my 6.5 PRC hunting rig. It'll be used for...
Figured I would contribute to the KRG Bravo love! I love this rifle. Great ergos, and have the grip weight and buttstock weights added for perfect balance. 18lbs 9oz.
Krg bravo, with enclosed foreend
Bighorn origin short
26" Criterion MTU 6.5 Creedmoor
Leupold mk5 5-25 pr2 mil
Seekins rings...
Last shot of the origin with the setup as is. I added heavy spacers and a grip weight and the rifle balances well now.The suppressor is about to lose the Keymo system and go with a hellfire mount. I'll save about 5 ounces and around an inch
Bighorn origin short
26" criterion MTU 6.5 creedmoor...

Any dssf magnum magazines you know of?

I've gone with a 24" Shilen Heavy Sporter in 6.5 prc, and it will be going on a bighorn origin action in a KRG Bravo stock. I'll be stealing the pst 5-25 from my Bergara...
I'm thinking this may be the route to go. If this was a fun rifle I'd be looking elsewhere, but as a hunting gun, I'm finding it hard to dismiss the 300 wsm over the other options for energy, ammo, brass, etc. It all just seems to be right.
Help me pick a short action magnum, please!
Alright folks, so I'm looking to build a dedicated hunting rifle sooner than later this year so I can get time on it before season starts.
I'm actively looking at short action magnums, as I believe they offer incredible performance in a small...
