Posted this earlier in the "SHWW" thread. Reposted here: Hey fellas, it's been a while since I've been in touch. Been in and out of the country on "bi-nez." I'm looking for a range on the West side to do some distance shooting and get hooked up with people who shoot better then me so I can...

Hey fellas, it's been a while since I've been in touch. Been in and out of the country on "bi-nez." I'm looking for a range on the West side to do some distance shooting and get hooked up with people who shoot better then me so I can learn. I live in the Bonney Lake/Buckley area and last went...

    Go sea hawks!

I missed the game today but it sounds like it was a good win over St Louis. Sounds like the offense is still a little weak and I hope they can tighten that up as we go into the playoffs with the home-field advantage.

Where can I find one? Seems legacy surefire cans are hard to come by wth the new SOCOM models out these days.

    AR .308 Question?

When you're talking about having a different barrel and adjustable gas block I'd at least start out with a completely different upper. The thing about 308s is that they don't all fit different lowers. I think POF uppers will fit on top of a DPMS but check to make sure. If that was the case...

Suppressors Where can I get a Surefire FA762K anymore?

So I had my rigs setup to accept the Surefire FA762K suppressor and I just never got around to ordering one before I went to Afghanistan. Now I'm being told they discontinued the K and SS models and are only going with the new SOCOM model. The bitch of it is the SOCOM won't work on the adapter...

    LaRue PredatOBR 7.62

Re: LaRue PredatOBR 7.62 Yup, that's what the general consensus and the proof is in your photo. But particularly irritating that LT refuses to answer questions about it even when the photos are out there on the internet. That was the controversy that was turning me off and making the wait not...

    LaRue PredatOBR 7.62

Re: LaRue PredatOBR 7.62 I just cancelled my order for the PredatOBR. The wait was just too much at this point. I put the order in March and they are still not in production. That and too much controversy swirling around this XTRAXN thing. I'm sure it will be a great product and I'm kinda...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Marines to field Colt .45 1911

Re: Marines to field Colt .45 1911 I think the move AWAY from the M9 is more the good thing here, not necessarly the move TO the Colt .45 1911 specifically. If we're going to go with the .45, I'm sure very solid arguments could be made for an HK or Sig as I'm sure some guys are using them...

Re: LaRue PredatOBR 7.62 I've got one one order as well. All they say is 12-14 weeks wait time. I'm not really in a hurry so I'm ok with that.

OBR's fluted chamber XRETARDN... What's the point?

Re: OBR's fluted chamber XRETARDN... What's the point? I've got a PredatOBR on order and I talked to them about this. They didn't want to talk much about it since they're holding it pretty close. But he did tell me that the reports they are getting from reloaders are that it's not a problem.

    Piston AR-10 suggestions?

Re: Piston AR-10 suggestions? As far as DI guns that have adjustable gas systems, Noveske and Armalite SASS have adjustable gas systems. Larue and GAP make good custom systems that are excellent but are DI. Larue only has a Suppressed and Non-suppressed selection. GAP puts the Noveske...
