Apple Helped the Chinese Government conduct surveillance and censor

Believe me, it hurts me to say that about the military. The problem is that I've seen it. Lower enlisted will do just about anything they're told just to not get yelled at or get privileges taken away. Sure, they'll bitch and complain, but they'll do it. And when the crusty E6 or E7 tells the...

I was talking about the whole "Jews control the media" thing. It's obvious she's racist as hell.

Apple Helped the Chinese Government conduct surveillance and censor

They also helped our "benevolent" government do the same. We get awfully upset when we see the communists do it, but give it a "meh" when our folks do. The whole COVID fiasco has taught me a few things about our fellow citizens, and I was pretty cynical to start with. 1. The government (as a...

Best folder on a Remington 700 chassis?

I went with the JP APAC. I'm still waiting for it to arrive, so I don't have any hands-on experience with it yet. Lowlight has a 224 Valkyrie in one, and I got to look at it at the PRE. Everyone says they lock up solid, and the hinge is reversible L or R. Just another option to help muddle your...

Left Hand rifle vs adjusting to standard (right)

I've wondered about that for a while, so now I'm building a left handed rifle to try that. My son is a lefty, so it won't be a total loss if it doesn't work out for me.

This alone speaks volumes for immigration policies.

Anyone remember when replacement theory was a crazy conspiracy? Also 11 million is a number they've been using since the eighties. WHEN this passes, it'll be too late to be shocked by the real number.

    Steiner T6xi

@Huskydriver, you probably read the manual(unlike me), but for the benefit of others: the Steiner rep at the PRE told me to make sure the turret is LOCKED when you loosen the set screws to adjust zero.

Missed the part about the bike lane paralleling road? I've always wondered if biker shorts constrict a self-awareness gland somewhere. I live on a mountain that has a steep, twisting, no- shouldered road going up to the top. Bikers love going up it at negative 2 mph for the "challenge". They...

    Steiner T6xi

I don't think you'll go wrong with either one. Personally, I'd take the opportunity to get a little more magnification for my aging eyes. I went to the precision rifle expo this last weekend and had a chance to play around with a lot of different scopes. The turrets on the T6Xi compare very well...

    Mid price spotting scope recommendations.

If you don't need a reticle eyepiece, you might want to look at the Pentax PF 80 ED or EDA (angled). The bodies go for around $700 new. I've seen them cheaper used. They take a1.25" eyepiece, so you can go as crazy or as sensible as you want with that. I have one with the Baader Hyperion 8-24mm...

    Steiner T6xi

Mine has just over 22 mils elevation and 5 1/2 mils each direction on windage. Can't really confirm about the eye relief, as I don't have it mounted on a rifle yet. To measure it, I'd have to get my wife to help, and I don't want her getting her hands on a tape measure 😊 Edit: after playing...

Rifle Scopes XTR Pro vs Gen 3 Razor vs Steiner T6XI

Finally got to play a little with my new toy. First impressions on the Steiner T6xi 5-30 with MSR2 reticle: Love the reticle. After seeing the 27 page pdf on FinnAccuracy detailing the reticle, it seems like it will be easy to use. It's not cluttered up like a huge grid covering the bottom half...

Rifle Scopes XTR Pro vs Gen 3 Razor vs Steiner T6XI

I'm in the same boat as you. The deciding factor for me was the MSR2 reticle available in the Steiner. I encourage you to go over to FinnAccuracy and check it out. Can't comment on glass or turrets yet, since I won't have hands-on until Friday. Another (less crucial) thing the Steiner has over...

Funny how she talks about letting go of instincts and trusting officials. She might want to read "The Gift of Fear". There is a reason we have instincts, and bad things usually happen when we ignore them.

Had to draw on someone today, police department held me at gunpoint

We just had an incident here in my neck of the woods that started very similarly, but ended with the aggressor dead. No charges to the shooter. Glad you don't have someone's life on your conscience, but maybe a few examples will help some of these newcomers understand that they need to leave...

    FGMM .308 vs 7.62

I might be wrong( happened once), but I believe the chamber pressure for 7.62 is in CUP, not psi. It's actually higher than .308, but I don't remember the number off the top of my head, but possibly somewhere near 65,000 psi. Don't quote me on it though, do your own research.

Powder question for reloading 300 Blackout Subsonic

Shooter's World Blackout or CFE BLK both work great with 220 Nosler custom competition. The biggest issue I had was finding a magazine to keep the heavy bullets from nosing down and causing feeding problems. The Lancer L5AWM 300BLK magazines solved the problem and look pretty cool, too.
