    For pistol, just typical polymer frame mags...glock and hk. Also single stack glock 43 and 1911 if they will work. For rifle, ar15 mags 99% of the time. Maybe ak and ar10 if they will work. Also, it would be awesome if aics mags worked too.

    You beat me to it. Those were the two i was going to recommend, haha. I believe they both have a little higher than normal rye content, which gives that spicy finish. Bulleit is my go to, every day choice, but i think basil is smoother maybe, and more expensive.

    I think your terminology is a little confused. If you're buying a bighorn, curtis, etc, that is considered a custom action.     If sr25 is same length as vltor a5, then yes, switching to an xlr would require a different buffer and spring on a large frame ar.

    This is what i use on my 308. Vltor emod with some adhesive foam to build up the cheek a little. Not a ton of room for bag riding but it's better than some. I use a vltor a5 tube with a h3 carbine buffer.

    Haha, your option of used rifle is probably a better idea. Buy it in a different cartridge and now you've two guns, just swap the bolt back and forth.
