Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56

    Sounds "upgraded" :)

Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56

Agree with both points. I have ran into those that like mushy and those that like the clack. User preference and requirement for the set up.

Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56

Mushy "flump" sound from hash to hash. No clack clack clack. Like soft farts as you dialed.

    Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle

Seems like this thread is getting some traction so maybe I will extract some real world experiences. Seekins Havak Bravo in a newer chassis or stick with the Seekins HIT, both in .308? The HIT so far is a tack driver but I haven't put enough rounds down the Havak action in the BRAVO to...

Rifle Scopes Gen 3 razor turret

Both came back. 1 is clicky clicky. 1 is unchanged and mushy mushy. Unfortunate.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Agree. Just have to be gentle :)

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

No pictures as we are dealing with a damaged range, stands, and all the others things due to weather. After about 200 rounds of testing other firearms, the Seekins HIT in .308 was able to stack 185 Bergers from Federal, in .4-.5 MOA at 100 yards. The Norma Golden Target 175s did .5 MOA. The...

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

It's ready for some 185's & 175's but weather/clean up/spring is getting in the way.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

I have tried some, all 20moa cant, one piece mounts. 1.125 I think is the absolute lowest I would go. That riser has tons of travel. I have a 1.5 on now. Extremely comfortable with 3 more clicks of travel left.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

I did as they said and went through every screw and cleaned machining residue etc etc.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Understood. Anyone throwing thread locker on? ;) Joking on locker but for what it is worth, I pulled the chassis to adjust the trigger and the action screws came out with little maybe 10 inch lbs of effort. Called Seekins weeks back to confirm all torque settings and they confirmed 55inch for...

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Any information on torque setting, if any noted, on the barrel swap T15? I see this from another feedback/reviewer. There is no requirement of torque, a simple screwdriver does the job. Loosen a single screw and the barrel threads on or off by hand. Which is so insane to contemplate from a...

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Enough height for fitting in a case, your shooting position, scope objective, and other miscellaneous variables, is the correct answer.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

I think 1.35 or 1.5 may be the trick for long necked humans above 5' 10".

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

My only comparison, for real life, is the Bergara PRO. With 1.181 the riser still doesn't allow me enough height to get good line of sight with the scope.

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

I noticed the same thing. 7 clicks on the HIT vs the full adjustment duration of the SEEKINS BRAVO. On the HIT 1.181 mount height put me right in between 2-3 clicks, 1.35 3-4 clicks, and now I have a 1.5 on the way. It just seemed there was a SUBSTANTIAL amount of rise on the HIT and was curious...

    New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

Hoping to NOT de rail this thread, but any members following this thread, that have also had experience with the BRAVO in .308? Accuracy and usability of the KRG? Does the cheek riser on the BRAVO have the same height adjustment as the HIT riser? It seems the HIT has lots of adjustment.
