Do I need a 300 Winchester Magnum
Barrel life.................HA HA HA HA...............first of all, you'd have to shoot it awhile to wear it out. Second, there is like THREADS on the barrel so that it can be removed and replaced by your friendly rifle smith. Hell, your 'smith needs to eat and make mortgage payments, too.- Diablo

Gunsmithing Will Loctite damage coating on receiver
Terry Cross did this on one of my 300 Win Mags several years ago, IIRC it was a 25 MOA lugged rail from Near Manufacturing.
