    It’s a magnum 7mm with a case/chamber optimized for modern high bc heavy for caliber bullets just like the 300 PRC. Factory match ammo with a 180 gr @2950, nothing this side of 28 Nosler can touch that. Edit: 24” barrel too

    Did not see the speed, 3.340 oal and a 180 (eld?) doing 2950. Seems about between WSM and RM. Interesting. If Lapua or ADG makes brass it will be very interesting with some of the higher energy powders.

    Highly recommend “on pack” rifle carry. I have the Kifaru gunbearer it’s no frills but gets the job done. Exo also makes one that looks like a quality piece.
