    Still cant figure out my pressure issue. I think a carbon ring is forming. 34g H4350 behind 88 eldm. running right at 2950 in my 24" barrel. I hit about 50-60 rounds and start getting significant pressure. Anyone else running into this after so few rounds? Thanks.

    Sounds good. Looking forward to what you guys find. Would love to run the 105's at 2700 out of a 16" barrel but doesnt look like that possible.

    All those numbers are screaming. Most likely would run a can. I wasnt planning on pushing anything that hard and was thinking the 6 might be better in the wind at the slower speed but looking at all these numbers it might not matter with the heavy 88's or 85's.

    Looking at doing a 16" bolt gun and want to run a GT. Question is, 6 or 22. Would be running the 85.5-88 or the 105-109 weights. Anyone run a 16" barrel for either of these?     I have always chassed speed but guess i could never tell what it did for me other then more recoil. This would be for comps as i'll keep pushing speed for hunting purposes. Think i'll give the 80% as you say a try for a while and see how it serves me. Thanks for the info and insight.

    Thanks Frank. Load is a 109gr Berger and 40.2gr of H-4350 going 3049fps. I was a little surprised to see the fire cracking, barrel has 744 rounds on it. It was the brown/copper looking that I wasn't sure about. I have only cleaned with Bore tech products and light Nylon bore brush and patches...

    Wondering what happened here. Never seen this with any of my barrels. Its a 6 creed, 400bb barrel. I always clean with bore tech and cant get a dirty patch with carbon or copper cleaner. Anyone seen this before? barrel still shoots just fine and only have about 600 rounds on it.
