    Pressure after cleaning new barrel???

U took the barrel from an ice rink that slid the bullet thru the barrel smoothly to a desert with grainy sand all over it. What do u think will happen to the bullet? Goes slower and takes more pressure to get it up to speed. Never clean ur barrel like that in my opinion it wastes ammo cause u...

My theory on neck tension. Am I way off base?

This. Taking material away from your brass makes them last not as long as they would if you had just shot em. I have consistent sds in 3’s in 4 calibers and they all have the ability to shoot 2 inch groupings at 600 yards. I say that to say there are better ways to spend your time and money on...

    22-250 with 12 twist

NOT a 75 grain AMax. Looks like a rabbit slapped it’s D*** on the paper when it flies thru sideways.

    Bolt vs gas

Handling a single recoil vs three recoils of a gas gun is significant. Granted I think mastering a gas gun makes you follow thru on a bolt gun so it makes u a better shooter. I have match grade ar16 in a 6mm wildcat and match ar10 in 260 rem. They collect dust. I shoot my TL3 bolt in 6mm Comp...

    .243 vs 6mm cm

With my Comp match I shoot 115 JLKs at 3154 fps. SDs in the 4s. Can go faster. But not needed.

Do you crimp for your .223 bolt guns?

I never crimp after I handload. There really isn’t anything to gain in my opinion.

Rifle Scopes Opinions on Bushnell xrs vs Athlon cronus

Did a tall test on my Cronus BTR up to 12 mils. Nailed the line every time. Was ratcheting the thing all over. Didn't shoot it every mil at a time. Went to 9 mil then shot 2 mil then 7 mil then 12 mil. Every time was dead on the line. Very very pleased. Then did it with hold overs and was on...

    22 Cal ELD-M bullets

Not sure where the low node was. Started at 24.5 cause that's where the 6.5 guys said their node was. It was terrible. SDs were garbage. 25.05 gr is where the start of the high node begins to come together and 25.3 is right in the middle of it. Pretty big node at .3+ or -. Low node I would be at...

    22 Cal ELD-M bullets

    22 Cal ELD-M bullets

Brass is on its Sixth firing. neck sizing so far only. Primer still have a good hold. Brass doesn't look like anything special. Easy bolt lift in my TL3 Bighorn.

    2 Stage Triggers

Used and own 3 2 stage timmney Calvin elites. All have a lil cheap to them in the second stage. But it's so minimal it's not really worth talking about. Had the single stage timneys first. Went with the 2 stage and never looked back. Set at just under 14 oz. I am curious about the BnA but...

    22 Cal ELD-M bullets

We have a huge node at 25.3 grain XBR 8208. Just over 3100 fps. Can consistently shoot groups on 8 inch steel at 800 yards if the wind is consistent. 24.5 gr sux. And 24.9 is just before the edge of the node. 26 inch rock creek.

Rifle Scopes Is a Gen 1 razor too much scope for an ar15?

To me a scope is "priceless and weighs nothing". Almost all prs guys run their big 34mm 5-25s at around 12x. I don't ever touch mine past 14x tops. The FOV is better and has a good overall picture. Use what tracks best. All else is a bonus.

Rifle Scopes Is a Gen 1 razor too much scope for an ar15?

Why too much? What does that mean? Reliable tracking and nice clear glass and a scope housing that can take punishment your definition of too much scope? That's my definition of the bare essentials. If that scope gives those things to u then there is no real definition of too much reliability...

    Rifle Scopes Cronus clarity

As far as illumination goes. The BTR was not suppose to have illumination on the numbers to simplify the reticle while lit up. The original Cronus has the numbers illuminated and is one of the best illumination jobs I've ever seen on any scope. There is zero bloom and no bleed.

Rifle Scopes Minox ZP5 Durability for PRS?

Both Minox zp5 one from MR5 and 1 MR4. Both have been run hard on ar15s ar10s and bolt prs on bighorns. They are really something. Traded in the kahles gen 3 to get the MR4. Never looked back. Had zero slip once due to operator error.
