    Which Heavy Duty Truck?

Thanks for all the opinions! The folding console/bench seat is no problem - one of my kids would be sitting there, and only occasionally. My Sequoia gets about 14-16mpg mixed use, so as long as I could get about the same or a little better to offset the extra cost of diesel I'd be happy.

    Which Heavy Duty Truck?

I see there are other misc truck threads running, so hopefully this isn't too repetitive. I have always owned a Toyota truck or SUV so I have no allegiance to any of the major truck brands. I am looking for the best diesel truck for general use...

    Which Heavy Duty Truck?

I see there are other misc truck threads running, so hopefully this isn't too repetitive. I have always owned a Toyota truck or SUV so I have no allegiance to any of the major truck brands. I am looking for the best diesel truck for general use (driving to work, range, etc.) AND for hauling a...

Moving to Colorado. What do I need to know?

No offense but Pueblo would definitely be one of the last places on my list of places to live in this beautiful state - like other folks mentioned the crime rate is pretty bad. On the upside you won't be too far from some really nice mountain areas, the Great Sand Dunes, and only about 90...

Rifle Scopes AIAT help me top it off

I have a Vortex Razor 4.5-27x on my AI AT (see pic in sig) and am very pleased with the package. You should be able to easily keep it under $2k including mounts. ETA: I have two Vortex Razors and they are built like tanks. Can't attest to any failures on their lower tier models.

Advanced Marksmanship Time lapse through the scope video? Am I imagining things

Last year my wife and I were on a high speed ferry between Victoria & Seattle and there was a heavy inversion over the water - it caused a perfect upside-down image of the shoreline and ships on the water in the sky. Even when a distant ship dipped behind the horizon you could still see the...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Working construction and everyday carry

Yeah, in that application appendix is not ideal! For those of us stuck in the suburbs appendix is more practical :)

Sidearms & Scatterguns Working construction and everyday carry

You might give appendix carry a try? I have a TREX Arms Sidecar and Raptor and they print significantly less than my old Crossbreed Supertuck did.

No, it's not a Submariner or whatever, but he's not looking for a Gucci watch. If you can find a tougher watch, that keeps as accurate of time, and doesn't need a battery or to be wound regularly let me know, because I'll probably go buy it!

    Help with watch and backpack.

I use a Casio Rangeman GW9400-1. It's solar powered, and automatically syncs with the atomic clock every night. I've had mine for about 5 years with zero problems. It's always accurate, and I don't have to worry about batteries. Also has compass, pressure, and altitude functions. Comes in black...

Hunting & Fishing Federal land out of state hunting fees

I get the logic, but all game management is done on a state level and not federally. If the game animals were smart enough to know where property lines were and would stay on National Forest Land I think you'd have an argument, but as they wander freely between private, state, and federal land I...
