Once you have your gun data input and saved, is quick and easy to use or do you have to go through a lot of men screens?
Also do you have to use the Applied Ballistics software or can you use the Hornady 4DOF.
I am trying to decide if I really need a Kestral or do I just want one. I have a WeatherFlow that connects to my smart phone. I do not compete but shoot alot. I reload and am serious about trying to be accurate out to 1000 yds.
I agree that it would serve as a STARTING point. If it apeared that there was some type of pattern..say if a large number of people said the "gun" really liked a particular type of bullet as an example then it might be worth a try.
Is there any value to looking at pet loads for a specific typye of gun for example, I have a SAKO TRG22 in .308. Would asking other owners of the same gun about their pet loads provide more valuable in formation than another brand gun?
I know that each gun is an "individual" but Guns with same...
I'm going to call PTG and see if it in stock. I like the stock and really don't want to go to a chassis type unless I have no other options.
Thanks for the help!
Well I just read a new thread in the "Gunsmithing" forum that says PTG is a horrible company to deal with! Just my luck...is there a third company that makes a bottom metal that will work with Savage 12 LRP?

I have a Savage 12 LRP thta shoots great but the magazine sucks. I bought an after market magazine that everyone here recommended. it is better but still is a pain in A$$ to get the mag to lock into the action.
Are there any solutions????
Ordered Burris 1.5" XTR signature rings . They arrived yesterday and I installed them today. It is a pretty slick set up and I was able to install and set the eye relief perfect for me. I know some folks have had some issues but i'm feel that they will work fine...time will tell.
Thanks for your response...Rings are indeed hard to find but I wanted rings to help with the eye relief. I ordered some Burris rings thta have adjustobale MOA cant. I ordered 1.5" high

I have T3 TAC A1 in 6.5cm. I have a Kahles 624i x 56 to install on it. I am looking for 20MOA rings that are high enough for the 56mm bell to clear the full length rail. If you have done the same thing what quality rings did you use???
The Nightforce ultralite model A357 seems to be the best choice. Others here surely have extended rail guns with 56mm objective bells. I know that Sphur has a solution but at over $400... That is what I have on my TRG. I'll check the Burris. I hope others will chime in.
