    Christensen Arms Ranger 22

Looking at the similar threads below I found this article. https://www.gunsamerica.com/digest/christensen-arms-ranger-22-reviewed/ It looks like I have the newer design bolt design/travel. I really think my problem is mag related and hope to find a couple mags that eject more reliably.

    Christensen Arms Ranger 22

It was rainy here today so I figured I'd sneak out to the range as no one else would be dumb enough to go out there. I took a 25 round mag and boy did I have problems! First fte was about 3 rounds in. I dropped mag to clear, when I tried putting the mag back in the gun the mag release/catch was...

    Christensen Arms Ranger 22

All the failures to eject have been mid mag. I have only used the mag that came with the gun to date

    Christensen Arms Ranger 22

The action and bolt have smoothed a good bit. I have sat and opened and closed the bolt after lubing to work the action in. I don't think I will be using this for any 22 PRS matches over my B14R steel but the CA ranger is very light and handy and enjoyable to shoot. Hopefully with time accuracy...

    Christensen Arms Ranger 22

2nd trip to range Mine is having some failures to eject. I tried just closing the bolt to clear the empty. It worked 3 out of 5 FTEs last range trip. 2 jammed up the gun and had to remove mag to clear.

    Christensen Arms Ranger 22

I am thinking of getting one. LGS has them for 829 - on sale for 79 off. With the rebate that's 500 out the door - No sales tax on firearms in good ol WV - the deal seems almost too good to be true...

    Christensen Arms Ranger 22

Is Christensen running the sweet rebates on the Rangers this month because they are getting ready to release the gen 2? What's the new gun going to be like?

Aftermarket Triggers For Bergara B-14R ?

Tac sport pro in mine. Single stage with the flat shoe set at 3.5oz. It is wonderful. Had it in for more than a year now and several thousand rounds through it with zero issues. Went to Lapua test center and even Luke was impressed with the feel and asking about it

Bergara B-14R Range Report and Assessment

We talked about this. Since the reticle and adjustments are both MIL and in FFP just read the hit and dial that number. His other gripe was trying to zero at 50. Adjusting .1 mil left or right was off the Bull to either side. He was frustrated but the guy that bought the scope was sitting to the...

Bergara B-14R Range Report and Assessment

I still can't figure out why MIL is so popular. Shooting 22s with buddies this weekend. One just got a new Athlon ares ETR in MIL. We were shooting steel plates at various distances out to 400. The rest of us are still doing MOA. As we would change distance we had a good idea what to do in MOA...

Bergara B-14R Range Report and Assessment

Well I just ordered one of these Bergara 22lrs. It was between this and the CZ 457 MTR. I have shot 2 of my friends MTRs and have been impressed with the accuracy. LGS can get the B14R but no stock thru their vendors on the MTR. I have hi hopes this will at least match what their guns are doing ?

Rifle Scopes 2014's Best Scope ShootOut

Thanks for the words of encouragement! I am definitely getting the NXS 8-32X56 with the zero stop. After reading all the scope info I have a feeling I will likely end up with more than one high end scope. Also I am starting to feel the need for a bench rest rig. Oh well... Now the only question...

Rifle Scopes 2014's Best Scope ShootOut

You guys are killing me. I was about to buy a NF NXS8-32 with the MOAR-T. I have never bought a quality tactical scope and started looking around for some more info and boy did I find it. This is one of the best comparisons I have seen. Tactical Scopes: Advanced Features | PrecisionRifleBlog.com...
