    Rifle Scopes SWFA Teasing Announcement?

Both original Mil-Quad and the new tree version will be available. The turrets are taller than I like, but they do have zerostop now which is a welcome addition. They are are multiple models and configurations coming up. ILya

    FOV issues and patents

I was overturned in EU after a long lawsuit with Leica. It is valid in the US until someone becomes willing to go to court over it. I suspect that if it were to happen it would likely get overturned too, but we will probably never know. Legal proceedings are expensive. Swarovski does not...

Another FNG scope recommendation for a range toy.....

I'd be looking at Burris XTR3i and Element Titan.

Point of diminishing returns for a 2-12 ish scope

I'd probably forgo the side focus and pick up Leupold Mark 4HD 2.5-10x42. That's a good mag range for this gun. Another good FFP option is Trijicon Credo 2-10x36. Both of those are within your budget.

    Rifle Scopes Leupold Mark 4HD

I have the illuminated TMR FFP 2.5-10x42. It works very nicely on low power. I shoot a little below 10x in the wind a fair bit, so holding for the wind with the reticle below max power is very useful for me.

Rifle Scopes How do LPVOs perform in low light?

That video linked in a previous post should explain it. If it does not, I can go over it again in a livestream format with real time questions. In a nutshell, because bumping up the objective diameter while maintaining 1x on the low end and good FOV and depth of fiels would make the scope...

    Optics FS: Blackhound Emerge 2-12x44

Glass looks excellent. There are a couple of minor scratches on the objective bell. I tried to take a picture, but they are small. The scope has covered mrad turrets and mrad reticle. The scope comes with the sunshade (with integrated ARD) and scope caps. $600 shipped within CONUS.

    Vortex Impact 4000 Gen 2

Now that I think about it, I do not think I had to replace batteries on mine and I have had it for a while. I think mine is from the first batch. I ended up setting up the remote a little differently: it was on a short pic rail. It looked very unnatural on the rather tiny Fix, but worked like...

Delta Optical Titanium HD 1.5-9X45 - Like the Stryker line, but very unique.

I have one of these on my 300WSM Browning BLR. One of my favorite hunting scopes. It has been waiting for that moose tag... ILya

    Rifle Scopes Leupold Mark 4HD

I'd go with the 4.5-18x52 Mark 4hd. It is a little easier to get behind than the shorter Mark5. FOV is similar on the same mag. ILya

    Rifle Scopes Leupold Mark 4HD

I am not sure who you are referring to, but I have two Mark 4hd scopes here and the 4.5-18x is going hunting with me next weekend. By the way, Leupold has a typo in how they list FOV on 18x for the 4.5-18x. I measured it to be a little wider than what they have on the website. ILya

    Vortex Impact 4000 Gen 2

I have had exactly zero problems with mine, although I do not think I have quite as many rounds with it. Probably not too far off though. ILya

    Rifle Scopes USA Assembled Vortex's

Vortex has a pretty substantial manufacturing facility in Wisconsin. I have visited it several times. I do not know for sure which component comes from where, but I would imagine the lenses come from somewhere in Asia and all the clever stuff is from the US. As far as Vortex goes: AMG...

    Rifle Scopes Leupold Mark 4HD

That's really interesting. I decided to not test the higher power Mark 4HD scopes because the FOV is narrow and you can only dial it down so much. On the 8-32x it is at least 15% narrower than Razor Gen3 on the same magnification. Might be closer to 20%, but I will do some arithmetic to...
