I bought a salad spinner and it works really well. Spin it down several times and it will remove all of the water right away. Take about 8 minutes at the most.
Every time I have had a warranty issue with my USO scope, they have always taken care of things right away without a bunch of BS finger pointing. Rock solid company!
Yeah this has happen before. Just make sure that you check with the guys at TB before you start drilling. They might even have this issue fixed by now.
Re: Model 70 into tac driver
2nd on the trigger adjustment. All you need for an M70 is two 1/4" wrenchs. Take the action out of the stock and you will see what we mean. You can tune these triggers like no other. Make sure to clean all of the glue off of the nuts with lighter fluid first...
Re: What the most accurate muzzle brake.
Check out the JP Recoil Eliminator. They pretty much cost a bill but work like no other. Just my two cents. BTW You can no longer use the JP in competition as they were creating an unfair advantage.
Re: I have pudding face!!!
Go to any reputable barrel manufactures website and they will have a barrel break in procedure. Follow the guild lines to the T. When I purchased my Remington SPS tactical, I followed Kriegers guild lines and the thing still shoots 1/2 MOA groups. I have also...
Re: Oil or Grease on Bolt?
The rule of thumb is "If you move it, oil it, if the gun moves it, grease it." With that being said, I grease it and I also make sure that every time I clean it, I remove all the old grease and replace it with new.

RollingThunder51, Thank you for taking the time to write this information. This is a wealth of knowledge and make a lot of sense. I have always been told that fluting a barrel makes it more rigid but I did not know that it should be do...
Re: First Precision Rifle-FN SPR
Congratulations! That is a sweet rifle and they finally added the new bottom metal. Gotta love 10rnd mags. I loved it! I am sure it hurt in the beginning but you will never cry again. As for the trigger, I do not understand why anyone would ever change out...
Re: Threaded vs. quick detach suppressor?
I am purchasing the 30BA from ThunderBeast. Reasons are as follows:
1) I intend on using this can on a .308 and .223 which makes it very easy to remove and install from gun to gun.
2) Threading on and off the can from the break is solid, just like...
Re: yhm suppressor
You shouldn't have any problems. If there is extra carbon build up, it will just make your can even quieter. You can always contact any local company that has an ultrasonic cleaner and have them clean it just as a precautionary measure. You might even contact YHM and they...
Re: What thread pitch is the most versatile for a can?
Thanks again everyone who have contributed to this discussion. This is a very important question that you should ask yourself when you are getting ready to purchase a can. Think about the current and future possibilities that treading...
Re: Beginner's guide to making silencers.
Hey just to add, the form that you need to fill out and file is called a Form 1. I just learned this and am interested in making a can as well. Thank you for the post.
Re: What thread pitch is the most versatile for a can?
Griffin, Thank you for the information. I understand what you have presented and can see the validity in it. I will keep it in mind and work out the details with my gun smith.
Re: NFA submission, now letter from IRS
I am searching for a forum on Trusts and the does and don't. Would someone guild me in the right direction? Thanks...
