    First Gun with ARCA, need mount.

    I have the 419 adaptor. On their 419 rail it either wouldn't stay tight or slipped up on the tooth of the rail and then you couldn't get it loose. I changed mine to a ADM. It is similar to the RRS. Works much better.

    I got a MOST series match to shoot Saturday. Checked zero & velocity. 6 shots, cold bore, ammo loaded on 2 different dates, results look fine. As usual, the trigger puller will be the weak link.

    This was about 5 years ago. I don't remember what kind of base he had on it. I wondered about that when Jbuck commented. Most bases can't be installed backward, but some can.

    Yes I guess the base should have made the impacts high. I remember the guy had a NcStar scope. With the elevation all the way up he was still hitting the dirt.

    I had a Murphy Precision base on my CZ455, and it was a very quality piece for a 22. When I removed the base to sell the rifle the screws had not marred the receiver finish, just left light brass marks that easily cleaned off.
