If you're going to take the time to drive to the match and spend time making connections and getting advice, you should just shoot the match. this was my biggest takeaway from that segment. Putin "banned GMOs in 2018". I don't know what the average Russian makes or if $7 is a lot to spend on that meal, but the possibility thats its real food is interesting at least.- impactaddict

Reasons off the top of my head. Opens up options for muzzle devices, TOMB, and direct thread suppressors. 1/2x28 can be more difficult to find. You likely have 5/8x24 stuff laying around. Might be other reasons- impactaddict
