Night Vision Reap IR battery housing issue? Cracked.....

I called Trijicon, they do not recommend rechargeables in their Thermals. Not a deal killer for me. The Reap-IR is one the best Thermal scopes on the market. with a combination of the smallest size/resolution/build quality/features/warranty & reputation. I can get batteries cheaply as I use...

Night Vision Reap IR battery housing issue? Cracked.....

As i research my first thermal scope buy & am pretty much sold on a Reap-IR 35mm version 2 , it does seem Trijicon knew it had issues with the original horizontal battery compartment, hence the ruggedized vertical setup on on the new model. Add in the easy zero feature of Version 2 & the fact...

Night Vision Reap IR & rechargables

Thanks - Think when I get the Reap I'll just stick to regular batteries. Don't want a issue with a 7K scope. And guessing they will come up with the extended battery solution for the Gen 2 at some point.

    Night Vision First Thermal buy

Well a Reap IR gen 2 is what it will be. Incredible image quality, & I love the form factor/aluminum build quality. Just wish it came with the cable for Image transfer like the Hunter.

    Night Vision First Thermal buy

I am actually going to get to look at a REAP version 2 & a Pulsar XP50 this week. Need to travel, as no dealer in my area stocks them & I feel more conformable dropping the bucks for one of these once I get to try them out. Still leaning toward the Trijicon.

Night Vision Reap IR & rechargables

Hey, Has anyone used rechargeable CR123 batteries in their Reap IR version 2? I know the new version has the vertical battery compartment so the current battery extender for the original Reap will not work. Only issue I see is rechargeable 123's are 3.7v vs 3.0v for standard lithium. Would...

Night Vision P & R Infrared good dealer?

Hi all, Has anyone bought from P&R Infrared out of Beavertown Oregon? They have quoted me the lowest price by far on a Reap-IR 35mm version 2. They are advising me they are a authorized Trijicon dealer. Thanks

    Night Vision First Thermal buy

Hi All, New to thermals, looking for my first buy. Looking for a excellent overall unit to handle some hunting, & tactical/defense. Lots of research has brought me down to the Trijicon reap version 2 or the Pulsar XP50. Leaning toward the reap due to the smaller footprint , aluminum housing &...
