Here's the length - about 9" from top of spike to where the leg meets the base. The perspective of the photo makes it look like the measuring tape isn't aligned with the bottom of the foot, but it is.- mwinter501

Yes, It's continued to be extremely accurate. I'm only selling because the purchaser of the rifle didn't need any of the barrels. 2k rounds is an overestimation on my part and is still nothing on a 308.- mwinter501
