    6xc. Feeds great, good brass selection, good velocity, easy to find a load for. If you are wanting to stay with srp, alpha munitions makes 6xc in srp and lrp.

    .188 freebore is perfect imo. Anymore than that, 180 class bullets won't reach the lans with caliber diameter still seated in the neck.

    Long action here also. No experience with a short. I'd say, if you are planning to shoot 162 class bullets the SA is fine, but as you increase bullet length the LA will shine.

    You can remove the pin and get a universal decapping die to punch out the primers before running them in your sizing die.
