This is a Remington varmint/ sendero Your gunsmith lead you right IMO not to heavy to carry but will handle strings of fire without walking In a steel barrel it’s my favorite for a paper puncher/hunter profile- tree man

Proof Carbon with wood stock?
I’ve seen this done and it looks bad ass! Wood stocks and wood replica’s are actually coming back strong right now Just look at foundation stocks exploding But I’m like you I would prefer a actual wood one with a dbm setup even a factory one would do, if I could open the barrel channel up...- tree man

Tikka T3x: CTR vs AICS magazines
Some people don’t like the CTR mags and I went with certain Manners stocks thst prevented me from being able to run them now, but I swear when my CTR was in the factory stock they were far superior IMO. ^ This is very true, i also own several NF’s and I had one NXS that was noticeably off, it just wasn’t as clear as the rest of mine especially at higher magnification, I wouldn’t say it was defective just not as bright and clear.- tree man

Proof carbon fiber barrel builds
I’ve got two of there carbon barrels the first I built a 6.5 prc and it hammers!
