    Hunting Etiquette

So I've been hunting a lot of years. For the last 30 years I deer hunt by myself. Saturday was the first day of deer season and I didn't feel the need to get up at oh-dark-thirty to go out to the field. It wasn't till about noon that I got geared up and headed out to the farm I was going to...

    Pots and fucking pans

All-Clad. Every year they hold a massive sale located at the county fairgrounds. You would not believe how many people attend. You literally have to take a number to get into the exhibition halls. I'm not kidding when I say that the time between getting a number and actually gaining...

Ok boys, eat your pancakes. Aunt Jemima is coming back.

None of those supposed maple syrups hold a candle to the real thing - Somerset County, PA Maple Syrup. Real maple syrup is MUCH better than that supermarket stuff.

^^^^^ Uh ok smartguy. I just had a heart attack in August. Spent three days in the hospital, got a stent. I was worried sick as to how much it was going to cost. Cost was $70,000. SEVENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS. I didn't pay a thing. Who did? Medicare. Don't tell me it isn't worth it. Parts...

    Trading a tacoma for subaru….

Man this post is REALLY weirding me out from a timing standpoint - just last week I traded a 2023 Sub Forester for a 2020 Toyota Taco TRD Off Road. The Sub had all the bells and whistles; the Taco has some of the bells and whistles. Subs have way too much tech on them for my taste...

FORTUNATE IS HE WHOSE BUBBLE LEVELS ARE IN HARMONY WITH EACH OTHER

At last count, I had 3 NIST synched watches and 1 thermocompensated watch. Plus the NIST site on my cellphone face. Yeah, I'm good.

    HK----HK USA!

They'll probably offer a 6.5CM so absolutely nothing to get excited about. AND it will cost $4000.

Has your employment of a red dot made you more accurate?

The subject line pretty much sums it up. Has your employment of a red dot made you a more precise pistol shooter? Thanks in advance.

FORTUNATE IS HE WHOSE BUBBLE LEVELS ARE IN HARMONY WITH EACH OTHER

There's a corollary to this among watch aficionados - It's said that a man with one watch always knows what time it is but the man with two watches is never quite sure. Wise words if you think about it.

Trijicon RMR or Crimson Trace laserguard

I've looked at all the major sites - eurooptic; opticsplanet; brownells, etc. All are running between $645 and $699 for Trijicon RMR HDs and they're all out of stock.

Trijicon RMR or Crimson Trace laserguard

I'm pretty sure I know what the answer is going to be but I wanted to run it by the Collective Mind for input. I've been considering going to a Trijicon red dot but man it's going to be expensive. Figure around $650ish for the red dot, another $150ish for the milling. And I'm not even sure...
