    It is very helpfu learning wind. I’d consider a decent 700 and shoot it learn it then swap barrels.

    I’ve used a 308 out to a mile. It made the switch to 6.5x47 cake. You can reach 1200 easy with 175s I used handloaded TMK or GMM. I was better at a mile with 185 jugs. I had a 20 inch 5r barrel and used it suppressed too. The wind is really rough on a 308 Buddy hit 1160 with the magpul...
