    6.5 Addiction (Swedemoor)

Finally got to play with some loads. We had an ELR challenge at the match this last weekend so I did a quick ladder from 49.4-51.8 gr RL26 in .4 increments. Speed was from 2999 to 3056. and the last three shots went into a nice little group. Settled on 50.5 loaded .020 off the lands. You can...

    6.5 Addiction (Swedemoor)

Those numbers are optimistic but possible depending on the barrel. You should get to 3100 without too much trouble, but you’ll probably lose some velocity after 1k to 1500. I’d plan on 3050 for 1800-2200 rnds Got behind on projects but should have some more info on the 150’s this next week...

    Rifle Scopes Lightest 34mm rings?

You might check out IFM rings. They are a new company but make a super solid product. My 30mm set weigh 3.7oz which is right with the NF but the IFM are a little sleeker.

Hunting & Fishing Need help from coyote hunters

CoyoteLights are a good one, (but pricey) to check out. A cheap spotlight from Walmart and a partner is something to think about too;)

6 mm BR barrel length why so damn long

The loss of fps per inch on the BR based cartridges if very minimal 10-15fps. They did a test from 28 to 32 and I want to say it was 40fps change. I'd say chop away:)

    Rifle for sniper challenge

Check out the MacBros new Titanium Action, I felt one at SHOT and it was super smooth. Suppose to weigh in at around 20oz. I think that would be the ticket for run and gun matches.

    6.5 swede improved

I would say yes, no problem. I run the 6.5 Addiction version in a short action and have got to an honest 3200 shooting 140’s with RL26 in a 26” barrel.

Why so many 550’s over 650’s? If the OP doesn’t mind the ?

Rifle Scopes Won a Burris Optics 50% off certificate....what do you you guys recommend?

I had a G2B 5-25, it was a pretty solid scope all things considered. I also heard that they are coming out with some new cool stuff so if you aren't in a rush I'd wait. If you're in a hurry the SCR is much better than the G2B Mil IMO.

    The Ckye-Pod

I got one from the first batch and was able to run it at the Cold Bore match last weekend. I am really impressed, I've shot an atlas for a couple years and really like it but you can't even compare the two. The C-P is so much more versatile and smoother to adjust. You'd have to mess with it to...

Rifle Scopes Lightweight scopes for hunting? Any FFP?

March 3-24-42 would fit your bill nicely, they are a little heavier (22oz) but have amazing glass, also about the only Mil option in this category. They can be found used for 1700-1800. I also have the Vortex HD hunter and must say, for the price it has super glass. I am a fan of my VX3i for the...

Rifle Scopes Anyone Using A March Scope

I have a 3-24x42 as a lightweight hunter/match scope and it fits the bill really well. They are about the only MIL scope in that weight and power range. Super bright and the 3-24 range is pretty incredible. The eyebox and parallax are a little tight but not really bad at all. You can find the...

    6.5 Addiction (Swedemoor)

You are going to be limited by your mag length rather than your action length. If you are running the ARC mags you are stuck with the short action. As a Tikka hunting setup a guy would be better off sticking with the standard Tikka mags and going to a long action IMO; it's the same action just...
