    Colt bolt action rifle

I had to look those up. They seem ridiculously expensive for what they are.

    BAT Igniter Action..?

The only time it was an issue for me was when I didn't use blue loc tite.

    Colt bolt action rifle

If they didn't want to make another 700 clone, they should have tried to be a better alternative to the 700 like Tikka has been doing. No one is going to buy this rifle. Hardly anyone is even talking about it...

Rifle Scopes Nightforce ATACR. Complete failure!

Its not unusual. On my Steiner M7 if I set the parallax just past the 200 mark, I have zero parallax out to 1000.

    Coating options for Sugeon

I just read about it. It sounds like an ideal finish. Did it have any break in time like cerakote needs?

Integrity rail or area 419 rail?

Its easy to use either pic or arca as they will both slide on the ingenuity rail with the adapter. You can also add a full length arca to the ingenuity rail if you want. The ingenuity rail is made of hardened steel and is recesessed into the stock. It rides bags better and it's highly unlikely...

Integrity rail or area 419 rail?

Are you talking about the Ingenuity Gunworks rail? Mine has been rock solid. I wouldn't choose a full arca rail over it.

    Coating options for Sugeon

I live in the desert, and usually don't put oil on my bolts.

What kind of cerakote was used? And were the inside of the race ways costed as well?

Zero Compromise Optic 2023 ZC527 MPCT2X and 10 MIL Turrets

Of the new reticles, I'm liking the fml-tr1 and ZF MRi. The issue is that I don't feel compelled to buy a March or Zeiss. ZCO's mpct3x is in my opinion, the best that ZCO offers.

    Coating options for Sugeon

Are you saying that if its not an option from the action manufacturer, don't do it?

    Coating options for Sugeon

Looks like there's nothing to worry about then. Does the bolt get treated as well? A long time ago I asked LRI about either meloniting or DLCing my PTG bolt and was told it would weaken the bolt. I'll have to try and find the post...

    Coating options for Sugeon

I see, so the steel comes bare, no treating of any kind, aside from heat treat.

    Coating options for Sugeon

Does the melonite process affect the heat treat at all? Who did the meloniting?

    Coating options for Sugeon

I tried contacting surgeon, but haven't received any response after a couple weeks. Will any particular coating or treatment hurt the action? I heard that the surgeons come ion bonded. Can someone confirm?

Zero Compromise Optic 2023 ZC527 MPCT2X and 10 MIL Turrets

Maybe crossover wasn't the best word. What I like about the reticles I mentioned is that they seem to be designed to draw your eye to the center of the reticle. And the FML TR1 has longer hashes out to two mils which makes holding over into dead space easier. The MSR 2 is similar in that regard...

    Biggest SHOT surprise so far.

They probably would if you called ahead.

Zero Compromise Optic 2023 ZC527 MPCT2X and 10 MIL Turrets

Whoops, sorry about that. Something similar to what Frank and Ilya have already done, like the FML TR1, or the ZF MRi. Or an MSR2 minutes the ranging portions and add a dotted grid. I think glassaholic called them crossover reticles.

Zero Compromise Optic 2023 ZC527 MPCT2X and 10 MIL Turrets

Would you consider having someone like Frank Galli or Ilya Koshkin design a reticle for you?

You ought to try the bone in rib eye at Panevino while you're in town.
