    RCBS’s new “Chargemaster”

I don’t think your line of thinking is far off. I had the same thought.

    RCBS’s new “Chargemaster”

Dang that price is disappointing. Really the only practical thing I can tell this does the $200 Frankford arsenal doesn’t do is .04 resolution. That’s a big premium for a marginally better scale. I would have thought that RCBS would be able to deliver a better product at a similar price point...

    Training Courses Rex Defense

I went to a Rex Defense seminar and live fire. My experience at the seminar was exactly how Frank described in his podcast. The live fire was a shit show, there were also people there who didn't attend the seminars, which seemed shady as it was billed as a prerequisite. There didn't seem to...

Water Bladders for Gunslinger II Pack

I've run (2) 3L platypus reservoirs in mine. The platy's have a grommet on top that the clip on the pack snaps into perfectly.

Saw this come up on Gavin gear’s YouTube channel few months ago. I’m not shopping for a lathe myself, but this may fit the bill for you.

    Whidden dies any good?

I just received a custom non-bushing sizer, a micrometer seater in .260 Ackley, and custom seater stem for 140 ELD-M's. The Redding 260 AI dies I bought weren't properly sizing the neck/shoulder area, so I decided get a custom set of dies made to my fireformed brass. Had the neck ground to...

Tulsi Gabbard, not my team but I like what she says

She certainly has an appealing message, doesn't seem identity politics obsessed, and is Ron Paul endorsed. She may be the democrat's best hope for a sane candidate, because of this she will never get the nomination.

    Fieldcraft Hiking boot recommendation

I'm on my 2nd set of Lowa Zephyrs, I can't recommend them enough. First set busted through the gortex liner after 3 years of near daily use, but the soles were pretty shot before that anyways. Great 3 season boot. Super light and comfortable, breathes well and are waterproof. Only problem...

    Sage and Braker cleaning kits

Although what's shown in the pictures seems to be a step up from a boresnake, practically speaking it's no different. The question you need to be asking yourself is: Do you want to clean your precision rifle with a bore snake? I don't. Boresnakes have their place in the precision rifle world...

    Sage and Braker cleaning kits

i just googled them. Looks like run of the mill gun cleaning shit packaged in in the typical en vouge old timey turn of the century crap, marketed to hipsters and vegans. The name should have been a dead giveaway.

    California's magazine ban ruled unconstitutional

FYI: Brownells let me check out online with a D-60 pmag shipped to Cali just a few minutes ago. They are instock and on sale there too BTW. Already have more 30 rounders than I can carry, this will just be added to the collection for novelty mostly.

Rifle Scopes All American Optic w/o breaking the bank, i.e. robust, OK glass, mechanically sound?

Steiner T5Xi. A bit heavier than you like, but fits all other critera. It is made in USA, probably with foreign components, and owned by an Italian parent company. Don't know if a 100% USA made optic exists.

    best calipers, preferably digital

Mitutoyo battery seemingly lasts forever. I bought a set of hornady dial calipers as a backup so I wouldn't have to interrupt a reload session with a trip to the pharmacy for a batt, however I haven't had to change my Mitty's batt yet, and I've had it for almost a year. Cheap-o digi's burn...

    Truck tires

I have Falken Wildpeak AT3/w on my 2012 F150 4x4. in 285/70R17 and love them. I've had the set for 60k miles and still plenty of tread. Great in mud, snow, dirt and street. So far I'd say comparable or better to BFG AT/KO2 in terms of overall performance. I burned through 2 sets of BFG's...

PVA Black Friday Barrel Lead Time

Not saying anything bad about PVA, but there are certain trends you see with businesses that get a large share of sales via user forums, be it with guns, trucks, or any other hobby. A business becomes a forum favorite and goes "viral" in a short time, popularity hits a critical mass and...
