    Magazine Pouch Recommendation

Not sure if AI mags would fit but I love the HSGI Polymer Taco pouches. They fit a lot of different mags. I compete in multiple divisions in 3gun and the Tacos fit them all, so I don't have to buy pouches specific to different rifles/calibers. They hold my 556 AR, 762 AR and 762 m14 mags...

    Hunting & Fishing 16.5" to 20" hunting rifle 65/308

I recently went through the same decision making process...minus the suppressor, I live in CA. :( I ended up settling on a 16.5" 308. For hunting I prefer the shorter barrel, and on the 308 vs 6.5 decision I went 308 for a few specific reasons: Inside 500 yards, there's not much benefit...

    Bear stories!

Deer hunting on Sitkalidak Island in Alaska. I was dressing a deer while watching a Kodiak momma and 2 cubs walking up a parallel ridge about 400 yards away. I was anxiously waiting for the wind to change directions and for them to come take my kill. I definitely didn't get as much meat off...

    In Need of Training Resources

I signed up about a month ago. There's a ton of information, probably ~70 videos with written descriptions and Q&A. New content has been posted since I signed up as well. It's absolutely worth it.

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

My bench....I built it around the water storage tank stand I had previously built, as I didn't want to move that. It's ~500 lbs anchoring the bench...it's rock solid without anchoring to the wall (which I might also do at some point, but no need so far).

Rifle Scopes ACSS reticle for precision shooting?

I run the PA Platinum 1-8 ACSS in 3gun. At 1x the illuminated horseshoe is basically a fast red dot, and the BDC has had me on steel out to ~600 (after transitioning quickly off a bunch of 5-25 yard paper targets). I've also used it for hogs. It's worked well in those situations. I was...

Rifle Scopes Does a true 100% RtZ scope mount exist?

I have multiple Bobro QD mounts that i have had good luck with . I can't afford all the optics I need so I move them around regularly. I'm not an expert but I did a lot of research on this topic and seems like Bobro does it right. Here's a review from a supposedly reputable source... ;)...

Maggie’s Doolittle Raid - Great WW2 Story- Even better for Memorial Day

A month ago my 10 year old son and I visited the USS Hornet for a school project, on the day of the 76th anniversary of the Doolittle Raid. We heard an amazing first-hand account by Richard Nowatzki, who was on the Hornet during the raid, the battle of Midway, and other major events in the...

Best options for a well rounded AR collection?

I mostly do 3gun competitions and hunting, this is what I like: AR15 Pistol with with 2 uppers: - 7.5" .223, for HD, SHTF and fun - 11" .458 SOCOM, for hogs and super fun, and if limited to 10 rounds in CA, why not go big? AR15 16" .223 3gun competition rifle (high quality, lightweight...
