Rifle Scopes Scope A.D.D.: What do you do with your "extra" optics?

I've had the car habit way before the serious gun habit. Have most of the cars I would want now so I am focusing on guns. Regarding scopes, I am in a rural area so it's not like I can check out a bunch of different ones at a range/shop soooo, I end up buying about all the best varieties and try...

What's your Fun (bolt action) Gun

I like my 6.5 creed RPR for just throwing in the truck and banging around. No worries about putting a tiny scratch or any of that stuff, just get cheap ammo and bang the crap outta steel. Or whatever. Something to to be said for a lower priced, accurate out of the box weapon. second on...

Rifle Scopes SPUHR vs. RRS mounts

I would agree, except.....I have seen a lesser mount shift radically when a friend was using a relatively solid gun mount to sight in a .338 Lapua. I think having the gun solid vs. letting the shoulder absorb some of the recoil allowed the shift. A Spuhr mount cured the issue (as I'm sure yours...

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

According to Barrett the large breech has a 1.08" bolt diameter, and small bolt is .93". You should definitely have the small breech, they update was quite a while back. My 1st gen is several years old.

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

I have an early .338 MRAD that has the large breech and 30 MOA rail, and it has the same fantastic trigger and the new gen I just bought. Weight of pull is nearly identical with no creep and about the same travel so my guess is they are the same and they were improved before production.
