    Home prepping; generator

These newer generators are much harder to work on and require special diagnostic equipment I believe. I would do my research before I purchased one. The military still has a bunch of the old generators and the units don’t want to get rid of them from what I hear. That says something..... You...

Since you have that deep well pump I would highly recommend getting one. They will handle the well pump and solve that problem for you also.

    Home prepping; generator

Look for a Diesel military generator 5k or 10k. They are underrated power wise and can handle a couple of extra 2k or 3k spikes no problem. Make sure you size it properly. You want to run diesel generators around 80% load to avoid wet stacking. If you have wood heat I would buy a 5k, they are...

    Food riots thread…and energy.

I don’t think so. We have the upgraded pump that is quieter (middle grade pump) and we have it downstairs so that probably helps. I’ve heard that the old standard pumps were kinda loud. The typical batch cycle is over 24 hours. We normally try to do 2 batches per week, sometimes 3. It’s just me...

MEP803a and MEP802a generators are top notch. How many hours did it have on it? I’m sure that you already know but they have a great community on SteelSoldiers.com to help with any problems and or any troubleshooting. Very knowledgeable guys over there. I would buy as many spare parts as you...

    Recession - 2022 / 2023 / 2024

I'm starting to change my mindset a little now. I have tried to get deals on everything I have been buying so far but now I'm at the point where I just want to know that I have what I need like yourself. I'm going to go ahead and order a sawmill and buy a wood stove also. I think that having a...

    Recession - 2022 / 2023 / 2024

I have been buying / collecting tools and equipment for a off grid cabin build for months. I'm debating buying hardware / fasteners for the cabin build vs buying it after my extended road trip up north. I think I'm going to go ahead and start buying all the screws / nails I'm going to need if I...

It’s definitely a project, I’m going to have to do a engine rebuild on it in the near future. It will be nice when I’m done though.

    Airline covid police

Well since we still don’t know what the long term side effects might be, they should be very concerned. Especially with all the additional boosters that they will be pushing.

What they need to do is ban the vax for pilots since they know about all the serious side effects. It’s going to be bad if they ground all the pilots who got the vax. That will be over 70% of all ATP pilots in the US I bet. The army has already been grounding pilots who got the jab.

    Musgrave Rifles in South Africa

Thanks for the responses and all the information fellas. When I do a VZ24 build in the future, it will be with Musgrave rifles! Sounds like they produce a quality product.

    Musgrave Rifles in South Africa

Does anybody here have any experience with these rifles? I stumbled on this website this morning and was intrigued. I would like to have a custom .358 Norma Magnum built someday. Mainly because you really don't see them pop up for sale. I've heard it's a great round for Alaska hunting. I was...
