    I've had good results with TAC. But you have to be careful with it during the summer months as the pressures can spike. My guess is the mixed brass and the bullets could be the issue. If you are going to stick with the brass you have trim all of it to the same length.

    5.56 75 ELD-M - 2.26 COAL???

    I've been using the modified stainless mags with a COAL of around 2.360". Or at least that's the COAL of the top of my head. It works in my Bushmaster lower due to the factory relief channel down the middle of the magwell.

    The first is in Eastern Oregon. The lake is Elk Lake and the last is off China Hat road near Bend. But you have to be careful of China Hat rd, I carried two firearms back then when I went out there. It's far worse now.

    I guess it depends on your AO. Here in the PACNW it's cold in the winter, hot in the summer, and windy/ rainy most of the spring. So if you want to get out there then weather will always be an issue. Some of the best times are out in the snow anyways so that's not a big deal. The wind with gusts...
