    Official MidwayUSA Codes

Those codes are great, if you've got the right stuff in your cart. I had $355 in my cart, and it said I need to add $236 of eligible items. I couldn't even get the $15 off!

Bad batch of AICS 223 Mags???

I had the opportunity to test out 3 mags this weekend: 1 is GTG, 1 is so-so, and 1 fails terribly. For mine, there isn't really a noticeable difference after loading, but my test is to lightly try to lift the tip of the top round. With a good mag, it barely lifts up. With a bad mag, I can...

    Rifle Scopes Scar 17s optic

I tried the LR game with my 17, but I just couldn't get comfortable behind the rifle for a consistent firing position. I couldn't get the right LOP, and when I did shoot with the buttstock fully extended, my natural POA wasn't there. The most frustrating thing of all is the angled cheek piece...

Rifle Scopes vortex crossfire 2 vs redfield battle zone

No experience with the Redfield, but I do have two Crossfire II's. Both 1" main tube; one in a 3-9x40 and the other 4-12x40 with the Dead-Hold BDC reticles. I used to rely on Leupold VXI's, but I've switch most of my budget guns over to Vortex Crossfire II's. The 4-12x40 has been great on a...

    Noreen Bad News... appropriate name.

Odd that a single thread brings out three members with 5 or less posts. I'd be very interested to see the pictures of both the Bad News and the 50BMG. I've been considering a 50BMG and the Noreen was on my short list.

Suppressors Gonna be a Salvo 12 Giunea Pig

I was on the waitlist with Silencer Shop for the Salvo 12. They had been advertising that next Monday, ordering would open up. Well, they screwed up and sent an "in stock" notification yesterday. They decided to open up ordering so I took the plunge. They have a total of 350 serial numbers...

Suppressors Suppressor 5.56 .22LR Battle Comp

The one key item that you don't have listed in your comparison: user serviceability/breakdown. If you're shooting any significant amount of 22LR, you're going to want a can that disassembles easily for cleaning. I've yet to find a simple solution that can cover both 5.56 and 22LR.

Night Vision Night Vision Crossbow Hog Killin' - Part 2

What's that setup look like? I'm interested in that concept for other nighttime varmints.

SPR carbon fiber hand guard ?

I've used the Lancer CF handguards on a couple different builds, both AR15 and SR25 based and they have all been fantastic. Super light and plenty rigid for sights and a bipod.

Suppressors How long was your suppressor approval

I agree that the Wait Time Predictor does a poor job accounting for changes in staff and throughput, however, the OP can pull up the graph, click on any data point with a similar "check cashed" date, and get an idea of when approvals were happening. Exactly the information he's looking for.

    Suppressors Suppressor for a .308 & 6.5CM AIAW

If you want to stay light, you'll have to go with a titanium can. You'll have to work to keep everything under $1000, but it might be possible. A top contender like a TBAC is out of the budget. Have you thought about what you're willing to sacrifice first? Length, weight, QD? My...

Shooting sight trigger +400 round test run~ FLAWLESS

I've got a SS trigger on my SCAR 16S SBR and had one on a 17S before I sold it. Solid triggers with adjustability at a price well below Geissele.

Suppressors Great Day Shooting With New Thunderbeast 30BA

Yes, significantly reduced muzzle report from the Arbiter. I know the SDN6 is supposed to be a great multi-use can, but it was embarrassing. The SDN6 was a "bang" where the arbiter was more of a loud PSSHHHH.

Suppressors Great Day Shooting With New Thunderbeast 30BA

The 30BA will be my 2nd .30cal can. I attended a Precision Rifle Course shooting 175SMK's through an AAC SDN6 right next to a guy shooting 175's through an SAS Arbiter. From that day on I knew I needed a more refined suppressor. I went pending June 25th...
