    If you reload brass that needs to be swaged, get the swage-it adapter for your 650. That with the trimmer allows me to fully process brass and then ready to load. Have fun, its an awesome press.

    I started with a ladder test, gave up and went to seating depth testing, then back to ladder testing when I found a good seating depth.

    Im using a long action and not restricted by mag length. COAL is 2.998" with a base to ogive of 2.257". Today I settled on a load of 62.2gr of H1000.

    I had my gunsmith use a unithroater to cut the throat so that the dummy round I loaded was kissing the lands. I can get you the base to lands measurement if you like, I don't have it right now.

    No, but Im interested in this as well. I have a thread going in the reloading depot for the 6.5saum with the 150smk but Im using H1000 with good results now that I found out those 150's like to jump a lot (0.110").

    Initial 6.5 Saum results

    I have gone up to 65gr of H1000 in my 6.5saum with the 150smk before I stopped because of high pressure. My current node is between 62.3-62.8 with no high pressure at all. I have a thread going in the reloading depot, several members have commented that it might be a slow lot of H1000.

    Bartlien transitional rifling (gain twist) could be something to look at if you need a fast twist rate at high velocity.
