    Rifle Scopes Opinions on Sightron

SIII range is best value for money around - if you're happy with 2FP and MOA adjustments. Probably not built to take as much punishment as some scopes but they're all optical instruments in the end..

    Gunsmithing rocksett removal

You could try gently heating the brake (over a gas burner or similar, maybe very hot water might work). If some strong threadlocker has been used, that might soften the bond enough for you to turn it.

    Chronic Lyme disease

Thanks mate. I have actually found quite a bit of info recently. Lyme is a lot less common down where I am (Australia) and there are the same problems here with getting the medicos to recognise it and getting them to learn how to treat it. Having it is pretty daunting, particularly since I can't...

    Chronic Lyme disease

G'day guys Am seeking advice on how to proceed in the face of a recent diagnosis of Lyme disease (plus co-infections) that the Docs think I've had since late 2010. Was originally (mis)diagnosed with Ross River Virus (a type of arthralgic fever bug that is mosquito vectored down here in...

Something special from Bushnell Tactical (spotter)

Re: Something special from Bushnell Tactical (spotter) Please let there be another reticle option other than the H32 - as in, something other than a Horus reticle.. something similar to the vortex milling reticle would make this package the duck's nuts.

    Long Range Accuracy Bipods

Re: Long Range Accuracy Bipods You probably won't have much luck trying to raise LRA direct. EuroOptic and Kyle at XLR both stock them and can probably answer your questions

What's Your Scope for Tac Competition Bolt Gun?

Re: What's Your Scope for Tac Competition Bolt Gun? Anyone got a comment on the 'tunneling' effect of the Schmidt 5-25x when it is on 5x versus the newer 3-20x? Does the latter have the same issue when on low mag?

F T/R Competition Sightron Scope choices...

Re: Sightron Scope choices... Waiting for the 8-32x was a good decision. I had one for a couple of years on an f-class rifle. Best value for money scope you can buy IMHO. Was really impressed with the reliability and tracking.

Kowa Reticle Eyepiece... Let's get to work!

Re: Kowa Reticle Eyepiece... Let's get to work! ^^^ this The reticle vortex uses on their HD spotter eyepiece is great but the eyepiece itself is small and the eye relief isn't the best.

Re: Private NON licenced reloaders As a side note, John Whidden, who is no slouch behind a rifle, loads all his match ammo on a Dillon progressive press. He advertises on here, so it's safe to say that his company offers machined toolheads for the some of the Dillon progressives. Makes a big...

Re: It doesn't get any more redneck You could use a marble covered with a fine lapping compound to smooth out the crown a bit - just roll it around on the crown. Otherwise, guess you can just lap by shooting!
