    Warranty is the singular reason to purchase. Lifetime on electronics is not normal, and will eventually go away - I would guess. Enjoy it while you can!

    I like the ranging capabilities of mine, but haven't loved them in low light. Granted, my backup is leica ultravid 10x42, so not an apples/apples comparison.

    I looked for that mount and found it nowhere. And no, the AICS front end is very different than the AIAW front end - for which the mount was made. By the way, I eventually shelved the AIAWM and built a 300WM and put it in an American Rifle chassis - and it is titties.

    Where are you located? Mine wears a Faxon barrel, which some here will tell you Faxon 8.6 barrels all suck - but that hasn't been my experience. Are you shooting subs and/or supers? And the 338 Utra is a good can, I have been very happy with the results of my little 8.6 project.
