    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

Doesn't have to be in a corner, of course: That's just the first pic I could find. It has some potential advantages, and some disadvantages over pure plywood: Almost all cabinetry work, or finish carpentry, if you will, involves compromise and is often more about desired function and use than...

Good looking bench! Alternatively, you could also screw 2 horizontal furring strips of -whatever your setback from the legs to the wall is- thickness x the width of your bench, and then screw through the legs into the furring strip. This can make for a pretty clean installation, and it would...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Best option: ~$1000 competition/ target pistol

I started with bowling pin shoots in the early 80s. Then IDPA/IPSC, and USPSA. Shooting under a timer was hands down THE best thing I ever did to get better w/a pistol. NOTHING like pressure to show one's weaknesses. I grew up shooting, everything, and bowling pin shoots and IDPA quickly...

I think so? But not certain. I know you have to have 50 posts to START a classified ad, but you can respond to ads and PM without that. Classifieds are under "Miscellaneous"

Sidearms & Scatterguns Best option: ~$1000 competition/ target pistol

I'm a newbie at long range shooting... but one of the first things I decided was to follow the forums here in the hide for a while, then buy a used high $$$ optic off of a long time member here. Lifetime warranties on Bushnell, NightForce, Vortex...why not used, right? I would recommend you...

Nothing wrong with the Caniks. I bought the original, and the tp9sfx... if you go this route, send it to Cajun Gun Works. They're known for their Cz/Tanfo work, and the canik is a distant relative there of. The stock trigger on the 2 caniks I had was lacking, to say the least. CGW made my...

    Thompson Center Long Range Rifle

That's one of the rifles I'm looking at buying... there are so many dang choices.. Really appealing price point, and a guy who shoots one at our local gun club is getting the same 1/2MOA as you.

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

Does anyone else spend twice as much time cleaning and organizing as actually reloading?

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

about 3 years ago, I ran out of room for bullets, presses, and everything else used in reloading. So, first I built another bench @ 90 degrees from the original, along the wall...built just as heavily as the first, but about 6" lower: On the first bench, I waited until I was completely...

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

I have a 2 3/4 car garage... the last 3/4 bay was designed for a golf car, and is only 9' wide. The back 2/3rds or so is walled off so that there's a front bay that fits the golf cart, then an open space, about 5' x 8', where I built my reloading area, then a door to what was a 6' x 8' storage...

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

This is what I started with about 10 years ago. It was a nightstand we were going to throw away. I reinforced it with plywood on 5 sides. After I built my next bench I put this one in my RV so I could reload on the road and while at work. You can just make out the strong mount and base...

As nice as your rifle is, this pic makes it FAR sexier! Almost irresistible. I may need kleenex. And a cold shower.

    Work related Health Class yesterday...

Wow. I've been a lurker in the hide here for a while, and as I branch out and explore some sub forums such as this one, I'm continually impressed at the breadth and depth of the knowledge here. VERY informative OP.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Best option: ~$1000 competition/ target pistol

Stock II They started out as copies of CZ75s, but by the mid 90s they were their own design, so that almost nothing interchanges between Tanfo and Cz, but they're all steel and work very well out of the box.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Best option: ~$1000 competition/ target pistol

It blows your budget, but something like this would be my pick: https://classifieds.practiscore.com/firearms/pistols/price-drop-ck-arms-9mm-with-5mbx-mags_i2053 I started shooting ipsic/idpa/uspsa with a plain jane 1911. Single stack is a good division... I saved a few pennies and bought a...
