    Since you are asking for opinions ill chime in, makers mark is very over rated and not worth what it cost. However Basil Hayden is very good especially for the price point.....but as someone else mentioned, your not poor so buy some Pappy Van Winkle 22 year and make your pallet happy.

    I'm of the opinion that if your going to spend $200 to ask the government for permission to put together an AR that has a shorter than 16" barrel and a shouldered buttstock, you might as well spend the money on a quality receiver as well. This is why I'm in the process of sbr'ing my QC10 lower...
