    - Different barrel. The OP rifle has a bbl. of 416 Stainless. Your SKU has carbon steel bbl. - OP rifle has 5 rd internal mag, your SKU has 4 rd internal mag (hence my questions about which bottom metal.)

    I never carried one, but I still love the .308. More energy out to at least 500 yards than the 6.5 CM (worse drop though), cheaper to shoot, easier on barrels. Nostalgic. Plus it's the same caliber as (older) M1As which is convenient. I'd probably pick the .308 vs 6.5 CM depending on whether...

    Thanks, yes, I saw that SKU on the Euro Optic page, but it's not clear to me if that's their SKU or Remingtons. Particularly since that SKU doesn't appear on the Remington Defense page. I'm hoping to hear back from the folks at Euro Optic, who have always been responsive in the past.

    If I'm buying the equivalent of something like a Mustang Cobra or Chevy Corvette, yes, I do expect they'd know if it has Brembo Brakes and (back in the day) a Lotus tuned engine.
