    We used a couple of these on our deer lease in Texas for years. We’d leave them out all deer season. They’d only last 2-3 years but the deer didn’t seem to care about them. We’d move them a few times during season and the deer didn’t care. Many times we’d shoot deer the day we moved them.

    Why the hell would they throw away the box? I’ve ordered a lot of guns and the FFL always kept them in the box. But I also live in Texas so maybe the commy state has different rules. But I’d bet the FFL threw it away in the box!

    I've done a quite a bit of looking at pre-fits for Tikkas. The safe bet in my book is PVA. Although if you're looking for a barrel on a hunting rifle I'd recommend Proof. I have a Proof 22" 6.5 CM that shoots 2865 fps with some mild loads.

    Took a stock SS 6.5 Creedmoor and had it punched out to 6.5 PRC . I had Shooter71 open up the bolt. This has some promise Factory 143 eldx ammo.
