    New to AR-10 - NRA XTC shooter

    Try either 155 Scenars or 155.5 Bergers. They will shoot great and cut down recoil. I would go with either N140 or H4895 for powder. Fast for short barrel light bullet gas system weapons.

    No harm no foul. I will take your set up for staying alive any day over these game guns we use for 1000 yard comps.

    Many miss the point. Hitting steal at 1000 yards is not the same as hitting a 5" circle at 1000 yards in the middle. No one has won a major F TR Match with barrel shorter than 26" in a very long time.
