    I have it successfully running on a Descent MK3i. There was some hoops to get it to work with Quantum and you have to pay the $300 fee to AB to unlock it, but it does work.

    Sadly they multiply. Now have 3 RRS(2 of them ANVIL 30s), 2 leofoto and an old school aluminum manfrotto. Not to mention more RRS clamps, mounts, plates and random other crap.

    I’ll take along the kestrel, even the most expensive kestrel along with this is still FAR cheaper than a Wilcox. My only concern so far is the inclination seems to be read from the phone and not the LRF itself.

    This seems to be getting closer and closer to the Descent series. Seems like the only difference now is the wireless air integration and wireless underwater messaging on the Descent since you can unlock AB Elite on the Descent.

    Pretty much my exact thought process. I'm hoping it performs as well as expected. The AB integration and the same price point as the Vortex? It's a no brainer to me if it works at all. If it does, I'll be getting a tan/bronze one as well, because heaven forbid the rifle doesn't match! HaHaHa

    It sounds like you need to use a ball head like the BH-55 instead of bowel or the ANVIL. Independent adjustments for pan as it has a built in panning on the bottom and then you just have the adjustment on the ball itself to tighten for elevation.
