Ruger RXM - Magpul & Ruger make a Glock 19 clone

I got one, put a spare RMR I had on the workbench on it. Shoots well enough. Talked to the folks at Magpul and they said you could actually drop in a Glock 3rd gen barrel, so I'll probably end up doing that at some point to try it out with a can. It's decent for what it is, at that price...

Suppressors Suppressor - rex MG7, Huxwrx ventum, or silerenco omega 300

The TBAC is on my short list for my next one if I can find one in stock. Primary use will be on a 300 PRC. Right now I'm using a Surefire SPS300 and a SOCOM 762 RC2 on 6.5, 300 PRC and multiple different ARs. I don't shoot unsuppressed now so I'm not sure if there is any POI shift between...

    Garmin Tactix 8 Smartwatch

I have it successfully running on a Descent MK3i. There was some hoops to get it to work with Quantum and you have to pay the $300 fee to AB to unlock it, but it does work.

What is ATF wait time for a suppressor?

Just certified 2 more today, Sunday 2/16, we will see how long they take. My last few have been less than a week after certification.

I want one of the tan ones so if that was an option I’d be interested.

Precision Rifle Gear Tango Innovations FIRE4000 WMLRF Initial Impressions

I haven’t tried doing it without the phone tethered yet. Reading the docs I see it is supposed to work as you are saying and experiencing. I’m glad to see that. Thank you for verifying!

RRS TFCT 14L w Anvil 30 too heavy for backpack backcountry hunting?

Sadly they multiply. Now have 3 RRS(2 of them ANVIL 30s), 2 leofoto and an old school aluminum manfrotto. Not to mention more RRS clamps, mounts, plates and random other crap.

I’ll take along the kestrel, even the most expensive kestrel along with this is still FAR cheaper than a Wilcox. My only concern so far is the inclination seems to be read from the phone and not the LRF itself.

Precision Rifle Gear Tango Innovations FIRE4000 WMLRF Initial Impressions

Initial impressions playing with it in the house are fairly positive. Feels very well constructed, button inputs are easy to press. Was able to connect it to a Garmin watch with AB. Took a second or two to get the range input to the watch but not terrible. As shared above, the phone has to be...

RRS TFCT 14L w Anvil 30 too heavy for backpack backcountry hunting?

Not sure why someone would want to put the PT-Scout on the ANVIL but they offer that. 😳 That's a lot of pivot points. I'm not overly sure why you would put the ANVIL on top of the riser. That would make it very weird, but it's obvious it can be done as the riser has a standard 3/8" screw on...

    Garmin Tactix 8 Smartwatch

Makes sense. I like having the full featured dive watch with the air integration and AB Elite. Not sure most of us would ever use the aviation stuff, but glad it is an option for those that need it :) Thank you for the answer!

    Garmin Tactix 8 Smartwatch

This seems to be getting closer and closer to the Descent series. Seems like the only difference now is the wireless air integration and wireless underwater messaging on the Descent since you can unlock AB Elite on the Descent.

    Elr Bipod arca vs pictanny

IF you use the RRS RLOC or the Area 419 ARCALock you won't have any problems with recoil. The biggest issue is on ARCA rails that don't have either of those lock options, it WILL slide. There are also cheaper ARCA rails that are just ever so slightly out of spec that won't lock down with an...

Precision Rifle Gear Ball head size.

I have 2 ANVILs and 2 BH-55, one of which I upgraded to the new clamp that the ARCA uses. I have used the BH-55 for years in photography so I am very comfortable with its use. The independent pan on the bullhead is nice for sure but there is something to be said for just having 1 tension...

Precision Rifle Gear Tango Innovations FIRE4000 WMLRF Initial Impressions

Pretty much my exact thought process. I'm hoping it performs as well as expected. The AB integration and the same price point as the Vortex? It's a no brainer to me if it works at all. If it does, I'll be getting a tan/bronze one as well, because heaven forbid the rifle doesn't match! HaHaHa

Need opinions on RRS 22iC Compact - Now a what RRS tripod thread

It sounds like you need to use a ball head like the BH-55 instead of bowel or the ANVIL. Independent adjustments for pan as it has a built in panning on the bottom and then you just have the adjustment on the ball itself to tighten for elevation.

What is ATF wait time for a suppressor?

When I first started stamp collecting it was a year+ for approvals. Now it’s a few weeks max most of the time. My last F4 took 72 hours. The 5 before that took 48 hours each. Had 1 F1 take 3 weeks and 4 other F1s submitted after that first one took 4 days each. I currently am waiting on four...

Suppressors Diving into HUB. Direct threads or buy 6 QD mounts?

I’ve gone mostly all into the SF brake. The ease of moving things around makes it a no brainer for me. I have 1 direct thread, an old Gemtech HVT on an AR10, and it annoys the hell out of me threading that can on every time I want to use it. And I have to take it off to put the rifle in the...
