    Bushing Size Question

So after doing some more measuring, the brass is actually somehow flaring out at the end. It is 0.279 through most of the neck and the flaring out to .282 at the opening. I’m not even sure how this is possible?

    Bushing Size Question

I am sure this has been covered before, but I googled around and couldn’t find the answer I was looking for. I am using a bushing resizer for the first time. It’s a Redding Type S FL bushing sizer. I am necking 6.5 Creedmoor down to 25 Creedmoor. I have Alpha brass that I will use for actual...

    ++Bighorn TL3 Builds++

Seeing customer service like this has me pumped to get my TL3 build together. This thread and seeing the company have somebody who personally takes time to respond and answer questions is exactly why I went with a Bighorn action. I think the TL3 and 25 Creedmoor are going to be a great match!

    WeatherFlow WEATHERmeter for Precision Shooting

Is the WeatherFlow comparable with trasol? If not I’ve also played with the Hornady App a bit, I could switch to that.

    7mm SAW vs 6.5 & 300 PRC

Off topic but if by any chance someone from Hornady is reading this, a 7mm PRC is something I would have in a heartbeat. Heck, it’s tempting to spec my own reamer and start wildcatting that. Just neck down some 300 PRC brass, load, and shoot! A 7 saum has been a want for awhile, so a 7 PRC would...

    25 Creedmoor

Nice! Congrats! I’m not gonna have my 25CM together for Indiana gun season this year, but I’d be stoked to take one like that with my 6.5! Hopefully next year I can do some scouting and find a good one for the 25!

    7mm SAW vs 6.5 & 300 PRC

That 7SAW looks like a sweet little round! Thing would have some knock down power for sure!

    25 Creedmoor

Listen to The Everday Sniper Podcast. One episode Frank interviews David Tubb and he talks about the math behind it in detail. I can’t remember exactly what he said but it basically made the air move in such a way that it rusuced the effects of variances in the bullet. I believe it also bumped...

    25 Creedmoor

Wonder how these 131’s would shoot if someone used Tubb’s new tool to put the nose ring on them?

    25 Creedmoor

No, unfortunately it does not work like that. Man would that be sweet though! The reamer is cartridge specific, not family specific. The blank comes with nothing but a .257(or whatever caliber) rifled hole down the middle. The reamer has to cut out everything else, including the are of the...

    25 Creedmoor

Okay, I was leaning that way anyway since I know tons of people use the Redding dies. It would save me about $50. I talked to Miles about a seating die and he said that he’s had several people have good luck the the basic Hornady 6.5 dies. That’s convenient because I already have a Hornady 6.5...

    25 Creedmoor

I still think everybody over thinks this stuff way too much. Trying to analyze every aspect of everything. Thinking that caliber choice will make or break them. Cost them a match. If this is something that tickles your fancy, build one and enjoy experimenting with this new cartridge/bore...

    25 Creedmoor

Only way for it to ever catch on is to build one and show the industry there is a viable market for .25 cal technology that is worth the investment. Kudos to Blackjack for being the first to stick their necks out and try it with no real idea if it would even interest people. I am only 21, I...

    25 Creedmoor

Should have my barrel in hand Monday, bought for a good price from a guy who had a Bartlein M24 blank then decided to go 6mm. Now I just need to get a reamer and take a short road trip up to my smith. Also got 500 bullets from that guy, will probably order another 500 right off the bat just so I...

    Best 22 Creedmoor Brass.......

I am building a 6 Creed(kicking around 25 Creedmoor tho) and I plan on using Peterson SRP brass. I have heard nothing but good things about Peterson, it’s in stock, and cheaper than Alpha or Lapua.

    25 cal options

The bullet selection is really holding me back, knowing my luck, I would get the one barrel that wouldn’t like those 130 ace bullets. If that’s the case, then you are pretty well sunk. If there were 2 or 3 bullet options I would have probably ordered a barrel & reamer by now!

    25 cal options

I am building a new gun and 25 creedmoor is tempting just to be “That Guy” at the match lol

    Suppressors Online Trust Builder

I am going to be filling out a Form 4 on 2 TBAC cans as soon as my dealer gets them. After doing a little research, I am wondering if a trust isn’t the best way to go in the long run. I will be changing addresses within a year and getting married in 2020. The trust, to my understanding, will...

    Suppressors TB Ultra Mount Options

I have an Ultra 7 being form 3’d to my FFL now. Coincidentally, I already had purchased an Area 419 Hellfire for my new 6CM before I ever even thought about a suppressor. So I am going with that system just out of happenstance. I do think it will be the best system though, as I can get a second...
