    I have a Howa Mini in a MDT Brownells BRN-1 with the MDT Skeleton stock. I don't think it's that bad.

    For the price its nice, I do wish the forend had a flat bottom to put a full ARCA rail on but I have a 7" rail on it. The stock could use a bit more on the bottom to ride bags better but all and all I like it.

    I have an Oryx on a Tikka T3x in 223 and I have a MDT LSS-XL Gen 2 on a Howa Mini-action in 6.5 Grendel with the MDT Skeleton Rifle Stock. I like that stock better than the Magpul PRS any day.

    I went back and looked but I didn't keep the data, if I remember correctly is was over 200 fps slower than 8208 or 4895. I was using a Tikka and was loading to the lands also, just not enough room to put enough Varget in the case to keep up with the other 2 powders.

    Varget is too slow for the heavier bullets in my opinion.

    Yep, setup was easy. Just make sure you update the firmware on both units when you get them and use the supplied USB cable and everything works good.

    Might be the difference between rimfire and centerfire. I don.t think a bolt head swap would work as the firing pin would be different.
