    New to me 9mm Bolt Gun

    9mm rifles are fun as piss. Craddock built this upper for me last year, and I haven’t shot much else on my 100y/pistol berm since. I imagine that a 9mm bolt gun would be a much more valuable training tool. You got a pretty kick ass rifle.

    Idk, 6.5’. I hauled in 200 ton of rock to cover the pad I scraped out. I’d say the dirt pile is at least 5 short dump loads, or 100 tons.

    Don’t overthink it. Pile dirt up. Shoot at it. If you want grass on it, throw grass seed on it. If you don’t, spray it with burn down. I found a picture of mine. I needed a bigger driveway, so I scraped the top few inches off of the yard next to the barn, piled it up and let the weeds grow...

    No problem. If it makes any difference, it’s a 9t Bartlein spun up by Moon on a defiance. FGMM LR primers and Winchester brass. It is the most consistent rifle I own. I don’t shoot it much anymore, but when I go on a hunting trip it’s all I take.

    In my TS Customs/impact 6xc these are .010” off. Work up to these loads at your own discretion.

    The internet never ceases to amaze me. OP specifically states “no diy”. First comment, “just diy”. FFS. Custom Gun Coatings did this T4A. Bought it second hand. Don’t care for the color, but the work is top notch.

    223 Velocity

    Varget was too bulky for my AR loads, so I switched to CFE223. The 77gr Prime Ammo is/was a powderpuff load (around 2500 fps out of my 18”), but it was very consistent. I regularly shot it out to, and beyond 600 on 12” plates.

    At what velocities do the 7mm 195gr EOL start pulling away from lighter options?

    If you’re wanting to use the 195 and a long action, why not use a cartridge with a little more lead in its pencil?

    Rifle Scopes Quick throw Lever for Nightforce SHV?

    I have put a million miles on the MK lever on my SHV in farm trucks and tractors. Anything from 95 degree summers to -20* winters and never had an issue. I can’t see how you’d tear one up unless you go a little too Randy Savage with the Allen key when you install them.
