    Re: 300 WM I got my overall length gauge tried the 220 SMK in it the bullet touches the rifling at 3.450 I am going to back of .010 and try the load at 74 gr of H-1000 and work my way up .3 of a gr up.I dismantled the other 77gr loads.

    I have a bartlein barrel that was chambered for the 300 Winchester mag for the 190 SMK bullets at 3.340 C.O.L. I have some 220 SMK bullets and reloading 77gr of H-1000 at 3.340 is a compressed load. Is this load safe to shoot hodgdon reloading Manuel has 78 gr max.

    Re: S&B Scopes This ain't my first BBQ I have Two U.S. Optics sn3 3.2-17 44 Mil/Mil scopes with GAP reticles in them. What I did not get is a European scope that is labeled 1cm at 100 meters that's all. And buy it all then sell what you don't want definitely help our economy.

    Re: S&B Scopes So even thoug the scope caps are market 1cm or 1/10 mill at 100 meter the scoope will move 1cm or 1/10 mill at 100 yard.

    Re: S&B Scopes I am not talking about units of measure.If the scope is calibrated to 1 cm or 1 mr at 100 meters and I am shooting at 100 yard and the scope is calibrated at 1000 meters I have to adjust for difference in distance correct.

    I just noticed that my scope turret on my 4-16 50 lp is marked 1cm at 100 meter. Are all S&B scopes calibrated at 100 meters instead of yards.

    Gunsmithing Mc Millian HTG stock

    I have a M40 profile barrel 24" on Remington 700 on a McMillan HTG stock.One thing I don't like about it is it feels nose heavy and is not very well balanced.I was thinking of adding lead to the but of the rifle but I don't know where to add or how to any info.
