    Suppressors Form 4 wait time

I sent a few forms in on the 12th. Checks show cashed on the 31st. Of course, that's a sunday, so I'm not sure how the hell that worked out. But, it is what it is I guess.

    Suppressors Form 4 wait time

Essentially, you are correct. Now obviously, they aren't working forms through a strict date system; "no one moves on to July 7th until all of July 6th forms are finished." So there is some lag time where forms coming back could span several weeks.

Movie Theater American Sniper: The Real Story on Reez Channel

The guy was full of himself, and apparently, loved to tell tall tales. That alone makes me question his claims of his "confirmed kills" (that isn't actually a thing btw), as well as his story about the bar "fight". We'll likely never know for certain what happened in that bar since both sides...

    Suppressors Form 4 wait time

The wait is starting to kill me I think! It's been a week and a half since any later dates have populated. Been holding at July 7th dates continuing to populate. Seems a bit strange to me since it had been going at close to 1:1 rate. I'd find it surprising if they had a sudden, massive jump...

Pelican case foam layouts and botched jobs

For what it's worth, in terms of DIY auto shops, the idea doesn't seem to ever have any success.

    Suppressors Form 4 wait time

NFA Tracker is showing first week of July forms coming back. Not 100% sure on how they track them; it appears as though they go by the date the check is cashed. I have three pending that were cashed on July 13th. So I'm really hoping in a couple weeks I'll have three or four of my eight...

Who makes a non shit inch pound torque wrench that goes to 140 inch/lb

I use the CDI wrenches. I have both the low range and high range wrenches. Top quality.

Talk me out of buying an AI AE MkI as a doner action

Well, I got in touch with Stuteville Precision and was told that opening up an AI bolt isn't going to happen. So this idea is either going to switch to a .308 based cartridge, or be scrapped in its entirety. Strongly considering an M2013 build in the same style I had intended for this idea.

    AI AXMC... .264 Win Mag????

It looks very much like this will happen. A friend has a 6.5 barrel he was trying to figure out what to do with, and a TRG that needs a barrel- we bought a reamer and he's going to put the barrel on his TRG. Once it's confirmed to give us what we want, I'll pick up a blank and have him get it...

    GF doesn't like guns

Also, some of the best pussy I had was from about 22-28. I don't even know how many women there have been; I stopped counting when it reached my age, and that was a long while ago. There is a LOT of fun to be had out there from your mid-20's to early 30's. Especially if you're reasonably secure...

    GF doesn't like guns

I'm 35 and engaged to a great woman, who is willing to try just about anything shooting, and decided she liked sporting clays enough, to buy herself a Benelli M2. The day I gave her the ring, she gave me my AXMC. My friend's wife recently said I was the most uncompromising person she knows...

Build me a rifle for an ACOG

I would suggest just doing a sort of mil-spec build. 14.5 with a pinned muzzle device of proper length, or 14;7" with a pinned A2. Zero reason to get fancy when running an ACOG. Quality parts (in terms of durability and function), otherwise plain.

Talk me out of buying an AI AE MkI as a doner action

Well, I really like the AI action, it would be pretty unique to have a high-grade, exhibition like hunting rifle built off an AI action. Of course, the availability for a relatively low price is the factor that has drawn me to that as an option. I couldn't see scrapping out a more current model...

Talk me out of buying an AI AE MkI as a doner action

Thanks for the input. I'll get a better look at the badger. It seems most custom actions are stainless, which would be a problem for bluing.

Talk me out of buying an AI AE MkI as a doner action

And that is very unfortunate for you. If it were, you'd damned near be Masaccio, Rembrandt, and Caravaggio all wrapped up into one. HINT

Talk me out of buying an AI AE MkI as a doner action

You're giving me some good info on potential sticking points! The extractor does appear to be a rather large affair. I doubt it couldn't be over-come though. However, after looking at a photo, I'm more curious if the bolt could handle being opened up another tenth of an inch. Seems that...

Talk me out of buying an AI AE MkI as a doner action

I've never even seen an AE in person, so all of this relates to the practicality/feasibility of the idea. I wouldn't want bottom metal that ends up being a foot long because I have to put a forward action screw at the very front of the action into metal. So this might be the first major...

Talk me out of buying an AI AE MkI as a doner action

What? I'm talking about having a custom, one off, high-grade, show rifle made for light-duty hunting. Heirloom quality that will be passed down for generations. I'm asking for thoughts on if this is a practical and work-able idea, and you reply with "Proficiency can NOT be purchased"???? No one...
