    remington pss 308 12 twist 178 amax imr 4064 load help

    Not the same rifle but in the 2 700 .308 Tactical’s that I own my go to load with 178 amaxes have been the same. Imr 4064 (43.1) CCI 200 Hornady brass Oal= 2.81 2515 FPS our of 20” 1/12” barrels. Flat primers so work up for your rifle.

    howa 1500 .308 rifle

    The barreled actions can be ordered with a 1/10. However the assembled rifles in the hogue stocks with scope pkg are 1/12. Why? I have no clue! Unless this has very recently changed this is how they have been for quite some time.

    Howa 1500 build

    Re: Howa 1500 build twist is 1:12. past 55gr you will start to notice a litte key holing. my best loads are 25.6gr varget and hornady 52gr. bthp. and mine really likes the 53gr v-max on top of 26.4 gr benchmark. I want to play around more with some 50gr bullets.
