    Right. I was just pointing out to others that the tube was 34mm not to be confused with the height of the mount in this particular case. I thought it would be worth differentiating only because the older Ares use to have a 30mm tube.

    I know 1.18" = very close to 30mm and I presume that is what your referring to(?)…...but so others don't get confused, the tube on the Ares ETR is 34mm.....different from the Ares BTR which is a 30mm tube.

    I noticed the new Ares ETR has a machine screw in the thumb knob on the power ring.....Does anyone know was the screw size/thread pitch is on it? Further, would anyone know of a nice aftermarket knurled post that would fit? Further yet, would a post in that position interfere with the bolt throw...

    The new ETR is a 34mm tube (presuming larger diameter mag ring than old Ares). Which throw fits? There have been very few new Ares ETR delivered, might be tough to determine......Maybe Athlon can verify...….Same as Cronus?

    With the apparent struggle Athlon is having getting the Ares ETR out, I don't think I would bank on a smooth delivery of the new floating dot reticle in the Cronus for a long while.

    I have seen others post that it is expected to show up in the Cronus at the next Shot Show. It is first being used in the brand new Ares ETR which is just starting to be shipped.

    September now?! Have you heard of a further delay or that was a date on your calendar that the scope was needed? The date certainly does seem to be drifing further out as compared to what others quoted they heard early this year at Shot Show.
