    I like NM brass and have found it to be pretty consistent. The 40cent price that 918v posted seems to be about right. If you sell all 500 as a lot you might discount that price a little. Post them at that price and go lower if they don't move.

    Is this really what to expect from Lapua brass?

    I've had a few dinged necks in about every box that I've ever bought. But that picture shows more than normal. But I don't see any that are damaged enough to effect the case life. It doesn't bother me because I resize every new case that I load.

    Before making a suggestion I would like to know more about your rifle and rest/bags. .4 is exceptional for an off the shelf factory rifle.

    Dad was a radio operator in Korea. He carried a 50# (if I remember correctly) radio on his back, along with an M-2 Carbine. He was later offered a position on a tank crew. He turned it down, calling it a steel coffin. He would never talk much about the war but I remember that comment.

    Sorry for your loss. Think of your Dad when you are shooting this. I'm moving in a couple of weeks and I'm getting rid of a lot of stuff and plan to better organize the stuff that I keep. Mostly to spare the surviving Family members from dealing with my stuff.

    Newbie help - case rim tore off

    Lots of good suggestions above, and some not so good. Buy a stuck case remover to get the case out of your die and review your lube procedures. You can assemble the stuff to remove the case from the die but by buying a kit you get it in a die box which makes it easier to store and keep up with.
