    Polaris Ranger gun rack options

I just bought the Koplin hard boot and mounted it in the bed right behind the rear glass. I looked at the police type racks that have the rifle standing up but sometimes I go through water that gets a few inches deep on the floor. And sometime I have a passenger on the middle seat. When I had...

    Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Laugh if you will but it works! I was mowing at Deer camp once and ran out of shear bolts for the bushhog. I ended up using a center punch and held it in place with a half roll of electrical tape. It let me salvage a days work.

Maggie’s The Official Beer Snob Thread

Diamond Bear brews some good solid beers. And they probably have the best kitchen/food menu between all of the breweries in Little Rock. Lost Forty has several great beers too and they recently expanded their kitchen and added a few things to their menu. I spend quite a bit of time at Lost...

Maggie’s The Official Beer Snob Thread

I'm a Hop Head! The Hoppier the better! I do like a good smooth barrel aged Stout this time of year. I eat lunch at one of the breweries in Little Rock at least once a week. Before Covid the Wife and I would take several beercations a year. Sometimes just a long weekend at some semi-local place...

I've reused them with no problem. I do go slow and easy when punching them out.

Question for the guys using SS tumbling media

I use the pins and I've found a few cases that had the pins stuck in the neck. I have also found 2 pins stuck in a flash hole. I just make it a point to look closer for this. I use a small pair of needle nose pliers to remove them. If you had loaded and fired that piece of brass you could have...

    Which die set for .223

I would stay with the basics and buy a standard 2 die set in whatever brand that you favor. I like the Redding Master Hunter set that has a full length sizing die and a competition seating die. In the calibers that I load the most of I splurge and buy the carbide expander ball. The truth is...

Rem 700 that fires when safety released need new trigger advice.

This is/was a known problem with Remington 700 triggers. There have been a few deaths and lawsuits over this. Most were because someone did a DIY trigger job or because it was dirty. I had one of my 700's do this and it was dirty. I had hunted in Wyoming and it was full of red dust. I cleaned it...

Hornady Neck Turn Tool or pma neck turner

I use less than one tiny drop of Shooters Choice FP10. I don't even squeeze the bottle, just what weeps out of the nozzle when I invert the bottle. If you want to get away from oil Redding Sizing Die Wax would work.

Hornady Neck Turn Tool or pma neck turner

I have and like the PMA tool. I have not used the Hornady tool but it looks cheap in comparison. I also have Sinclair and K&M tools and can recommend them.

    Bump shoulder on loaded round

I wasn't aware that a neck bushing die with the bushing removed would move the shoulder. But I have used a body die on loaded ammo. This was mostly from having ammo left over from one rifle after having it rebarreled.

    FL sizing 223 mixed brass

This is close to what I was going to say. If you're sizing mixed brass I wouldn't worry about .006. Numbers are good but they will drive you crazy if you let them. Different brands may have a slight different alloy and/or hardness. The way you lube it and the amount of time you hold it in the...
