Suppressors Cleaning a sealed can with Stainless Media

I would advise against it as ensuring all pins are out of it could be a real pain. Try the CLR soak and maybe a few minutes in the Ultrasonic cleaner if you have one. You could probably use the dip pretty effectively on the can, but I do not know if it would harm the exterior finish as I only...

Upgrade ?'s: Dillon presses and drill press trimmers?

Honestly, you keep saying you want to do a lifetime of ammo, but the amount you're talking about is very easy for the 650. If you were loading several thousands of rounds a month just to maintain your current shooting habits, sure, the 1050 would be more appropriate. But that doesn't sound like...

Upgrade ?'s: Dillon presses and drill press trimmers?

Unless you are just pumping out thousands of rounds of 223 I recommend the 650. Handles pistol like a dream compared to the Hornady LNL AP I had for 5 years before the 650. Does a good job with the 223 I process on it as well, I typically load in batches of 500-1000 rounds before switching...

    O ring on extractor spring

They are a lot more tolerant than you might think. Sure things get hot, but not nearly enough to cause any worry of melting even as you get the cyclic rate up there with the shorter barrels and suppressors. I've yet to lose one from melting at least and I certainly have not seen it.

    Rifle Scopes Proper Scope Mounting

    1. Highly advisable so that you do not damage your scope or rings. Wheeler FAT wrench at minimum, but I really like the Borka kit. You will end up using it more down the road. I use mine all the time, torquing action screws, scope screws, or whatever else you happen to run into. 2. A basic...

    Spuhr Mounts??

I like the Spuhr mounts and if you don't mind spending the $$$ they are well built. There are cheaper mounts out there though if you are concerned about price though.

Rifle Scopes Offensive title changed lol. Scope rings broke, What do you suggest I buy now?

OP, if you are using a Wheeler FAT wrench you should check it against someone else's torque wrench in case it's out of spec. Especially since you admit that it seemed like you were turning it rather hard. They can fail.

I'm running the 4001 on the AT without the NV mount, I believe it may be a touch too low if you decided to run NV.

Wow, now that is one messed up Ice Bucket challenge, "dude, my hair is fucked up." Yeah, no shit. When does lighting yourself on fire sound like a good idea?

Rifle Scopes Offensive title changed lol. Scope rings broke, What do you suggest I buy now?

One of two things likely happened: You over-torqued it or Seekins may have obtained a bad batch of materials. Both are possible, though I would probably point towards the first one as the most likely culprit. You said you torqued them to spec, what tool are you using? Have you ever checked it up...

Official First Look at the Accuracy International, AX308MC

Not necessarily. Occasionally I will get a shot that's outside of half MOA into the 3/4 area after a barrel change in the first 5 rounds I put down range. I just did a barrel swap on Tuesday from 308 to 260 and shot a 1/3 MOA group on the first 5 down the tube no issues, cold bore and all. Sure...

Tell me what i would gain by moving to CA.

There were NO stats included, just a BS chart or rankings that the Brady Campaign created to match their agenda. FBI UCR data does not support that chart in any shape or fashion.

Tell me what i would gain by moving to CA.

That makes two of us, he's doing the same to me after he posted up his "data." Hey Poly, do yourself a favor and actual read how they made that graph, it's weighted averages on what they deem to be a "good" state based on who has the most stringent gun laws. It does not reference FBI UCR data...

Tell me what i would gain by moving to CA.

How can you say that without CA's restrictive gun laws there would be a "huge amount of firearms related accidents?" California's gun laws have done NOTHING positive for the state in terms of reducing gun related crime. Find me a statistic that proves otherwise. *Hint, you better pull a...

    1lb vs 8lb powder

With the powder shortages we are still seeing places like Powder Valley don't have the stock from multiple shipments around on the popular stuff so you can almost guarantee you will get the same lot #. I've yet to have anything not in the same lot number when purchased at the same time from...

Giraud. If my brass doesn't need trimmed, what do you do?

Even when my brass needs very little trimming I still run all of my cases through the Giraud. It cleans the necks up very well and also ensures that every piece has a consistent length rather than having to check brass. It's so quick I can't see any reason to not do it as it does a better job...

Rifle Scopes Is Glass quality Bullsh*t? Or is it me?

If you cannot see a difference after an extended period of time behind a razor vs the UTG, you're not going to see it with the S&B. The razors have good glass the differences between the gen 1 razors and an S&B are not night and day. Once you get to the quality of the razor lines and other...

Rifle Scopes Is Glass quality Bullsh*t? Or is it me?

Like Timelinex says above, spend a good amount of time behind that S&B you picked up over numerous range sessions, then come back and evaluate your cheap UTG. I think you'll find the differences to be much easier to spot. It may be a costly revelation though; it has been for me as I no longer...
