    Best overall complete lower?

Alright guys, alot of trial and error, pricing things out based off suggestions, and I think I finally got it. I have 2 lowers that I will be building. 1. 9" aac 300blk (I want a 8.2/8.5 noveske, but noone is in stock) SBR 2. 5.56 16" of "lower" quality , that will be interchanged with other...

    Bumping shoulders too far back?

OK, Here is what is going on! I use a hornady comporator gauge set with the .420 insert which is supposed to cover 338lm. By mile's advice, I tried measuring the bump with a different tool. I used a 45 ACP case which sits literally mm below where the other gauge does. Voila.. Looks like I'm...

    Suppressors osprey 9 vs 45

I'm not dead set in the Osprey. I have just always heard only good things about it so I assumed it was the best. I will look into the other options now, thanks.

    Suppressors osprey 9 vs 45

So I've done all the reading and I'm not trying to beat a dead horse here. I understand the advantages and disadvantages. I think about 95% of the cans use will be on a 9mm. From my understanding, it boils down to the 9 osprey being 3db quiter than the 45 osprey with a 9mm piston. It seems...

    300blk upper

Well I've narrowed it down to: 8" seekins the new 8.5" noveske 9" aac I gotta decide soon, shit! They all have their pluses. I like that the seekins has the rail come further than the end of the barrel. It hides the suppressor a bit and thats sweet. But it doesn't come with any attachments at...

    Bumping shoulders too far back?

This is a cut open 3x fired. Absolutely no signs of case head separation.

    ELR 308/338 shooting

Actual altitude is 1800. DA was 6500 at 85 degrees. Heres what I got for my 338lm drops in mil's. My suppressor zero is 0.6 mils above my zero and all these were shot suppressed. So for example, the 470 is actually 2.2mils : 470-2.8 1037-8.0 1236-10.4 1471-13.5 1607-15.5 1760-17.9 1936-21...

    ELR 308/338 shooting

Had a couple record distances the other day, thought I would share whats 'possible' . My buddy and I are contemplating making a small local ELR match so we took out 9 of our targets and put them at various distances to go through it once and see what would be reasonable size targets. Conditions...

    Bumping shoulders too far back?

I actually just trimmed this last firing with my Giraud. Actually under trimmed accidently (2.710),so that is not the issue.

    Multiple rifles in one caliber

What do you guys do when you have multiple rifles in one caliber? More specifically the full sizer... The bushing can be replaced very easy only for different brass, however the issue is with bumping each only .002 back. Currently I have the die all locked up to push my main rifles brass .002...

    Bumping shoulders too far back?

So what do I do... Isn't over sizing bad for not just brass life but also accuracy?

    Bumping shoulders too far back?

So I have 'done it all' sort of speak to try to figure this out when it happened originally. I tried to sharpy an entire case, and there was no marks. I have measured the trim to length with the Sinclair tool and I have a far way to go before worrying about trimming. Lastly, I have measured...

    Bumping shoulders too far back?

I usually bump shoulders back .002". However with my AX338, I have to bump back a full .006" untill there is 'acceptable' resistance on bolt close. Bumping back .004" results in a VERY harsh close. Now, its not effecting accuracy or anything like that. But I'm just wondering whats going on? I...

    Suppressors 30 cal suppressor recommendations

So I'm heavily leaning towards Silencerco. now Specwar vs saker... It looks like Specwar is a bit bigger but obviously suppresses better. Does it work much better for the 300blk?anyone use it on a 9" barrel, is it too big or bulky for a small rig like that?
